Allison Holker Boss has shared a tribute to her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, to mark Father’s Day. It comes after his interview late last month, in which he reflected on life after his death.

The couple, who married in 2013, first met on the popular dance reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” Stephen’s death was recently ruled a suicide, and he was buried in a private ceremony in Los Angeles.

Taking to Instagram, Allison paid tribute to her late husband, Stephen, after he died late last year by suicide.

The mother of three posted a black and white photo of their family to celebrate Father’s Day on her page. Alongside the image, she shared a caption hinting that the family is still grieving the loss.

“We love you Stephen forever and always,” wrote Allison, who welcomed two children, Maddox Laurel and Zaia, with the late “Ellen DeGeneres Show” producer. Stephen is also stepfather to Holker’s daughter, Weslie Fowler, from a previous relationship.

Fans in the comments section also paid tribute to Stephen, acknowledging the impact he made while he was still alive.

“Heavenly Father’s Day. He is still here inspiring. We will celebrate now and always,” one fan wrote. Another said, “He saw you all and he’s so proud of you all!!”

Allison’s tribute came after she opened up about her life so far after her husband’s death.

Talk with people magazine, she shared that she misses the “simple moments” with him, like cooking dinner together and having “so many random conversations”.

“Our love is very real and very strong. We always tell people that our house is like a choreographed dance,” the dancer said of her relationship with Stephen.

Reflecting more on her late husband, Allison shared that “no one had any inkling that he was low,” which has made it even harder to accept his death.

“It was very difficult because I couldn’t understand what was happening at the time [he died],” he added of Stephen.

Although still reeling from a range of emotions since his death, Allison said she is determined to keep his legacy alive.

“Stephen brought so much joy to this world, and he deserves to be remembered as a beautiful man,” she continued.

Some of the steps she has taken to ensure Stephen is remembered include launching the Move With Kindness Foundation.

The non-governmental organization focuses on helping people with mental health problems overcome their challenges.

“We always hear, ‘Call the strongest person,’ and I believe that. But I also want the message to be that if you’re feeling low or depressed, it’s okay to lean on other people,” Allison said of the work the foundation does.

She added, “Believe that people will still see you as that light even in your darkest moments.”

Allison also admitted that so much has changed in her life since Stephen’s death. For one, he has adopted the practice of “cold plunging” at night to help him deal with tension. She also shared a new relationship with her children “that requires trust and is very vulnerable.”

Allison and Stephen first met in 2010 when they participated as All-Stars on the Fox competition series, “So You Think You Can Dance.” Three years later, they married, and Stephen also adopted Weslie, Allison’s daughter from a previous relationship.

Although Allison is in a better place since losing her husband, the mother of three has yet to return to dancing, a passion she shares with her husband.

“Dancing with him is very special,” he said, “I haven’t danced yet. That will be a big step for me, but I know that I will get there. He guided me to this path.”

Late last month, the autopsy report confirmed that Stephen’s death did not involve foul play and was indeed a case of suicide, per Explosion. He was buried on January 4, 2023, during a private service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles.
