Kloots Posted a Wedding Anniversary Tribute Two Weeks Ago
On September 3, the couple’s five-year wedding anniversary, Kloots posted a video from their wedding with the caption, “If I could relive one day in my life, it would be September 3, 2017. Our little wedding on a NYC rooftop with everyone that we love in one room, dancing and singing all night long. It was perfect. Today is our five year anniversary. I am so grateful to be with my family today because I find that birthdays and anniversaries for me are difficult. I need to focus love and support and fill the day with as much joy as possible. I miss this man more than words can say. Happy birthday dear, always ❤️.”
Kloots Maintain Cordero’s Spirit And Memory
On the anniversary of Cordero’s death, Kloots posted a tribute video with the caption, “Two years ago today Elvis and I said goodbye to Nick. It was the hardest day of my life. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him. Nick is a presence. His smile and laughter lit up a room. He loved everyone and was a good friend to anyone who knew him.”
In his post, he also talked about a dream his friend shared with him the previous year that helped him see a new perspective. “A year ago today my girlfriend told me about a wonderful dream she had. We were all at a party and Nick was there looking happy and beaming. When she asked him why he was there, he said, “What do you mean? Today is my birthday. It’s a day I can go back and celebrate with everyone I love.” Hearing this really changed my mood. He celebrates today? Is he happy? Birth and death have a lot in common. I couldn’t possibly know what was on the other side but he sent me a clear message. I quickly redrafted today. July 5th is the day of Nicks’ “new birth” and not the day of her death. This idea brings a positive light to a dark day. I decided that I would celebrate it today and always on the 5th of July.”
