Niemann recently found himself at the center of a messy fiasco when fans of the singer called him out for setting up an OnlyFans account that appeared to impersonate Grande. The TikTok celebrity rose to fame by “cosplaying” as the award-winning pop star on the social media site, which at the time also drew criticism from the singer’s loyal fans.
Fans believe Niemann went too far this time by creating an account on OnlyFans that may have been mistakenly linked to Grande. Neimann was seen wearing the “Stuck with U” singer’s signature high ponytail, eyebrow shape and winged liner to emphasize the slight facial resemblance she shares with him.

Niemann is also pictured posing in some of the attitudes and facial gestures that fans have come to associate with Grande. Although the account was created under the influencer’s name, it had a vague caption, “exclusive content you wouldn’t normally see from me!” who failed to distinguish him from the singer.

On Twitter, Grande fans slammed Niemann’s antics, arguing that the act of opening an OnlyFans account was extremely disrespectful and that she doesn’t look like the singer without multiple layers of makeup.

Other fans also slammed the influencer for her past actions of recreating Grande’s wedding photo after the singer married real estate agent Dalton Gomez in May 2021.
“She’s literally trying to be Ariana. She’s purposely trying to talk like her and recreate her wedding pic?? One’s wedding is a special moment in their life. & now she’s creating an OF impersonating Ariana sexually. weird & not okay,” the follower write.

While the criticism of Niemann’s antics was mainly done by Grande’s fans, the “7 Rings” singer also spoke out to subtly condemn Niemann as well as others who use her looks to make money.

In the caption for the video. Ariana expressed her displeasure at the fictional portrayal of herself, labeling it “degrading”.

He said at the time, “Omg yes [this meme video] please also double as your reaction to the ponytailed TikTok girl who thinks she’s doing that Cat Valentine voice and that wearing winged eyeliner and a sweatshirt does a good job of impersonating me… ’cause this is really how she feels… ‘Downgrades the whole thing,’ I scream.”

For his part, Niemann doesn’t seem bothered by the backlash he’s received from “Thank U, Next” fans even though the attacks haven’t subsided over the years.
Niemann has also stated that he is no longer a fan of Grande, adding that he cares less about the criticism and other color he receives from the musician.
“I’m used to Ariana covering me, so anything,” he said on Instagram, per Buzz feed. “I’m just here to entertain people. It’s not how I am in real life. It’s the reason why I’m not a fan anymore, honestly.”
Whether or not Niemann plans to impersonate Ariana live on her OnlyFans account is unknown at this time. However, given his track record, it wouldn’t be surprising if much of his content has elements that highlight his similarities to the artist.
