An Australian man was pulled off a plane in the Philippines by police after he slapped a passenger, sparking a dramatic fight in the aisle.
As officers led him away, he appeared to challenge another flyer to a “one-on-one” on the runway.
The man, who started his journey in Perth, Australia, allegedly insulted other passengers and “demanded a drink” from the flight crew.
A shocking video shot by a Scoot in-flight flyer captures the ensuing fight and screams from other travelers.
The drama began when the man boarded a flight from Perth to Singapore but worsened when he transferred in Singapore to Scoot flight TR396 to the Philippine capital.
A person who was on both flights with the Australian told Western Australia his newspaper has caused a stir in Singapore.

According to the passenger, the Australian had been cursing for “hours” on the flight to Manila.
“He was loud and rowdy so we moved seats,” he said.
As the flight landed, the passenger was seen confronting a man who was filming him.
“The Australian slapped him really hard and then it all started,” the witness said.
The impact was so strong, other passengers’ covers could be seen flying off.
This passenger then ducked into the aisle and the pair struggled, as others could be heard shouting “stop fighting”.
“As soon as he fell, some other men kicked him to the ground,” the witness said.
“The flight attendants feel stressed. Some guys and flight attendants tied his arms and legs with zip ties and they waited for the police to come.”

The flight captain asked cabin crew and two passengers, who were off-duty first responders, to detain the 44-year-old from Mareeba.
“It will be alleged that the woman took her own alcohol on board and was indecent and abusive towards passengers and cabin crew,” and a spokesperson for the Australian Federal Police said.

After finally moving on, the group allegedly became more disruptive, drinking the duty-free alcohol they had brought on board while one of the men was said to be seen vaping in his seat.
The men face fines after they allegedly increasingly harassed staff before consuming more duty-free booze and vaping on the plane.
