In his interview with Time MagazineBad Bunny discusses his upcoming role in the biographical drama, “Cassandro,” directed by Roger Ross Williams, per Insider.

Although the singer has starred in several films, including “Bullet Train,” “My Spy,” and “F9: The Fast Saga,” her latest film appearance gave her the gift of experiencing her first on-screen kiss.

However, Bad Bunny shared the moment with a male actor instead of locking lips with an actress as most fans expected.

Commenting on the experience, the “La Noche De Anoche” hitmaker revealed that he had no problem doing so, saying it was punishment for his cheating lifestyle.

“My first kiss for a movie, and it was with a guy,” said Bad Bunny, referencing his romantic exchange with actor Gael García Bernal, who plays a gay professional wrestler from El Paso in the film.

As for why he was so comfortable with the kiss scene, the 29-year-old rapper said it was because he was acting and “being someone you’re not.”

“When they asked me for it, I said, ‘Yeah, I’m here for whatever you want.’ I think it’s really cool; I didn’t feel uncomfortable,” the singer recalled of the experience.

In “Cassandro,” Bad Bunny stars as Bernal’s lover, who plays the lead role in the film. Also among the cast are Roberta Colindrez, Perla De La Rosa as Yocasta, Joaquín Cosío as Lorenzo, Raúl Castillo as Gerardo, and El Hijo del Santo.

On January 20, 2023, the film had its global premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It will be available on Amazon Studios’ Prime Video service later this year.

During his Time interview, Bad Bunny was also probed about his rumored relationship with Kendall Jenner. Reports of the couple’s affair first surfaced in February when DeuxMoi, an Instagram account dedicated to celebrity gossip, published a post claiming the two locked lips at a Los Angeles club.

The rumor was fueled by multiple sightings of Bad Bunny and Jenner hanging out together, including a double date with Hailey and Justin Bieber and attending Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2023 Oscars after-party on March 12.

Instead of addressing the rumours, the singer defended himself against social media users who thought they would call it quits because of his rumored romance with the model.

“When I read comments that say, ‘Bad Bunny, now I’m not going to listen to your music,’ that’s fine. I wouldn’t do anything else for you to like it. There are many artists, and maybe you will find someone you will like,” he said.

Bad Bunny also admitted in an interview that he was more nervous performing at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico than he was when he took the stage as the headlining act at Coachella.

“I performed at Azteca. I performed at Yankee Stadium. I’ve performed in every place,” said the singer, who was the first Latino to headline the event, per ABC News. “Coachella is going to be another … show for me. Obviously, I’m excited. I want to do my best.”

The artist also stated that his upcoming performance at the annual music festival will only show him being himself.

“There are a lot of megastars who have performed at Coachella before, so I don’t want to compete with any of them,” he continued. “I just want to be myself. Many legends have performed at Coachella but none like me. Never has Benito performed at Coachella. And that’s what’s interesting to me.”
