Bam Margera Vows To Binge On Drugs If He Is Refused Contact With His Son

Bam Margera wants to see his son, no matter the cost.

The struggling former MTV star said on social media that he has not been able to see his son, Phoenix, who he shares with his estranged wife, Nicole Boyd, for the past two months. He also threatened to smoke to death if there was no arrangement to see the child.

The former professional skateboarder has been embroiled in a divorce battle with Boyd, with the former model seeking full custody of their child and $15,000 in child support payments.

Margera recently took to social media to complain about being away from her son, Phoenix, amid her ongoing divorce from Boyd, per Page Six.

The skateboarder, who battled drug and alcohol addiction for years, vowed to take drugs if he was not allowed to contact his son as soon as possible.

“I’ll smoke with a bum on a f–king boardwalk until I die unless you send me a f–king Phoenix. Go to work, Nikki or anyone who wants to help. I want Phoenix,” he blurted on the now-deleted video.

TMZ reported that Margera last saw Phoenix on March 29, a claim the embattled actress also made known in her social media rant.

“I haven’t seen Phoenix in two f–king months,” the former “Jackass” star said, also noting in the video that being away from her son was “driving her to drink.”

Margera was reportedly unable to reach the child by phone or FaceTime, in addition to the lack of contact.

Boyd has yet to respond to her estranged husband’s rant. However, his attorney, David Glass, issued a statement asking Margera to focus on his sobriety before making such a request.

He told TMZ“I sincerely hope that Bam can achieve success and then maintain sobriety, for his sake, and for the sake of their child.”

Glass also slammed Margera’s claim that not being able to reach her son caused her to drink. “Unfortunately, that’s not how addiction works. People’s behavior does not encourage others to drink,” said the lawyer.

He added, “This is a common defense mechanism, and it shows that Bam may not have learned much in his past addiction treatment. You have to take responsibility for your actions.”

Margera’s rant comes after Boyd filed for legal separation in February after nearly ten years of marriage, as reported by Explosion. She unofficially split from the former MTV star in 2021 and filed for full custody of her son that same year.

But with Margera’s addiction problem apparently not over, Boyd moved forward to end their marriage, stating in court documents that the decision was “to protect herself and their son.”

However, he did not rule out the possibility of Margera visiting his son, provided the meeting is supervised and the former “Jackass” actor has completed rehab.

Boyd allegedly wanted $15,000 in child support payments from Margera every month in addition to his demand for sole custody. He also demanded to be paid spousal support for years in their troubled marriage.

His Legal Troubles Have Increased In Recent Months

Last month, authorities issued a warrant for Margera’s arrest after the actor was involved in a “physical altercation” with someone, per Page Six.

It was later discovered that the unnamed individual, who reportedly suffered minor injuries, was Margera’s brother, Jess.

The argument allegedly started when Jess caught her brother urinating in the kitchen sink of his home. After she confronts him, Margera acts rude and punches Jess in the face.

In March, the “Viva La Bam” star was arrested for public intoxication in Los Angeles. During that time, she was caught yelling at Boyd about her annoyance that he was seeking full approval for their son.

Margera was placed under a temporary restraining order a week later for allegedly threatening an unnamed individual.
