The musician and record producer, who happens to be the older brother of famous singer Billie Eilish, recently revealed that he was seriously injured in an accident on his electric bike.
The talented songstress shared the devastating news on Instagram and used the opportunity to thank her surgeons for their life-saving treatment. He also expressed his gratitude to his family members and his longtime girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, for their unwavering support.
The 25-year-old gave special credit to Sulewski for helping him through the grueling healing process. The couple, who are in a strong relationship, met on a dating app in 2018.

Finneas O’Connell professionally referred to as Finneas, has proven to be a product of grace after surviving a horrific electric bike accident that could have claimed his life.

The “Glee” actress shared an X-ray of her broken bone on Instagram, explaining in the caption how she injured her collarbone and suffered a fractured head following her fatal accident.
He began, “Last Friday, I had the pleasure of crashing my electric bike, flying over the handlebars, and completely dislocating my collarbone and sustaining a fracture of the radial head to my right elbow. The severity of my collarbone displacement meant I needed surgery which is now I’m on the other side, and I feel great!”
The eight-time grammy award winner went on to thank her amazing surgeon, writing, “I want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Brian Lee who performed the surgery, Dr. Neal Elattrache and everyone at Kerlan Jobe for their exceptional treatment. I feel very honored to receive it.”
She also credits her physical therapist and wrote, “I would also like to thank Jonathan Erb PT for guiding me through the physical rehabilitation treatment process I am currently facing.”
Luckily for the “Turning Red” actor, he has incredible support from his family and his beautiful girlfriend Sulewski who he gives a special shout out to. In his words, “I also want to thank my family for their support and love, and most importantly Claudia for dropping everything to take care of me once this happened. She has been an Angel through all of this.

Sulewski’s commitment to helping her boyfriend get back on his feet is a testament to how much the couple adore and love each other. Per The List, the couple revealed on their now-defunct podcast that they came together after finding each other on a dating app in 2018.
The “Bad Teacher” actor, during an exclusive interview, revealed that he was smitten with the YouTuber/actress when he first met her and even proceeded to write a song about her when he got home that night.
The song, titled “Claudia,” contains lyrics that glorify the “Young Hollywood” star. It has charming lines like, “I thought you’d change my plans with those emerald eyes” and “I’ll definitely fall in love with you.” And he must have fallen in love with her!
