Bindi’s Daughter Named After Family, Including Steve
Steve died at the age of 44 after being fatally stung by a stingray in 2006. Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell named their daughter Grace Warrior Irwin Powell for a special reason. “Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in the Chandler family since the 1700s. Her middle name, Warrior Irwin, is a tribute to my father and his legacy as the most extraordinary Wildlife Warrior,” Bindi previously said on Instagram. “His last name is Powell, and he already has a good soul like his father.”
