All seems not to be going well in Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper’s romance with Gigi Hadid.
Reports making the rounds suggested that Cooper’s mother, Gloria Campano, caused “strain” in their relationship as Cooper insisted on spending more time with her.
As we reported, Cooper and Hadid were linked in October 2023. The model is said to have initially embraced the family dynamic, but Campano’s “constant presence” is now steering their relationship down a rocky road.

According to reports, Cooper and his mother remain inseparable as the actress insists on spending a lot of time with her. Hadid was initially okay with their family dynamic, but sources claim she’s now fed up with Campano’s “constant presence.”
“Bradley’s relationship with Gigi faces unexpected obstacles with Gloria, who insists on being present during their romantic outings,” the insider said.
“Although he makes it clear that his mother has a special place in his life, her interference causes strain in the romance,” the source added.

The insider went on to reveal that the straw that broke the camel’s back came last month at the Golden Globe Awards when Cooper invited his mother to meet them. Campano notably accompanied the “A Star Is Born” cast to the Academy Awards in 2022 and 2019.
“While Gigi was expecting a private dinner after the awards ceremony, Gloria joined them again, much to her dismay,” a source told the publication.
“He’s made it clear to his partner that Gloria will always be the most important presence in his life, but as his relationship with Gigi deepens, his mother’s continued presence has become a point of contention!” the source added.
Another woman in Cooper’s life who allegedly doesn’t want them in a relationship is his ex, Irina Shayk, with whom he shares a daughter.
An insider claims the supermodel was “surprised” when the two lovebirds were first linked. The issue is mainly the age difference between them. The source stated, “Irina is unhappy with Bradley for dating another supermodel, but a younger one.”

Despite the reported tension, Cooper and Hadid were recently seen packing on the PDA for the first time since their relationship began. According to Daily Mailthe couple, who are known for keeping their personal lives low-key, were seen putting on several public displays of affection, walking hand-in-hand during a romantic outing in London last week.
For the outing, the actor wore a peacoat and camouflage cargo pants and tied a black scarf around his neck to keep warm. He also wore a large blue-on-blue plaid hat styled with a pair of Nike Air Jordan I collaborations with Travis Scott.
The supermodel wore a dark leather bomber jacket and camel cashmere trousers. She beautifully styled her blonde locks into a fuss-free set of braids at the back of her head and wore oval-shaped dark shades to protect her eyes from the sun. She completed her look with a pair of black leather loafers and carried a small black Miu Miu handbag.
At one point during their vacation, Hadid put her hand on Cooper’s waist.

However, the snub in the Best Director category must have left a sour taste for him, as he made his feelings clear when he was snubbed for his directorial debut in “A Star is Born.” At the time, Cooper said he was “embarrassed” that he didn’t get a director nomination.
“I feel ashamed. I was in a coffee shop in New York City and looked at my phone, and Nicole [Caruso, his publicist] telling me congratulations and saying what we’ve been nominated for,” the actor shared during Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversation from Times Square.
“They didn’t tell me the bad news. I’m embarrassed because I feel like I’m not doing my job.”
