The 41-year-old Pop Princess frequently deactivates and reactivates her Instagram account from time to time. She rarely shares the reasons behind her decision to deactivate social media, but her recent social media absence may have been inspired by some rather negative comments on her last post.

On Saturday afternoon, the “Toxic” singer decided to deactivate her Instagram account, but it is now up and running again, minus a few posts she deleted upon her return on September 17. The deactivation came just a day after a massive posting on Friday, which included posting, deleting, and then reposting, several different posts that all contained photos of various outfits she wore in her previous dance videos.
Although he usually leaves comments, he decided to turn them on for two different posts. One of the posts was deleted, while the other remained active until he deactivated his account on Saturday. Some comments were highly critical of her social media behavior. “Funny how you allow comments on this post. But not where you look positively psychotic!!” shouted one user. “From pop queen to laughing stock. It’s definitely entertaining,” another netizen commented. Some fans tried to shut down the negative comments, with one fan replying, “Being a bully says more about you than it does about him.”

“You have to realize that one of the reasons why people always talk bad about you on Instagram is because you post pictures of yourself dancing in just your underwear and no pants. It makes you look mentally unstable. Please keep your clothes on otherwise no normal person will respect you,” another user commented.
“Her body is her choice,” another fan applauded. “And if you look back at her tour it’s mostly half-naked or very revealing clothes and dancing on stage,” they wrote. “He’s been doing the same thing for over 20 years but now it’s a problem because he’s not making money or entertaining people and just having fun.”

“You’re beautiful and you’re too smart for these people who don’t understand what you do/ what your posts mean,” commented one fan. “Don’t let them get to you because they like your idea of ’crazy’ and too messed up,” commented one fan. “Love to you.”
