On Tuesday, September 12, ABC announced that Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of pop star Britney Spears, will join the 32nd season of “Dancing With The Stars” ahead of the full cast announcement on Wednesday, September 13.
Unfortunately, fans weren’t too happy to hear the “Zoey 101” star joined the program and made it clear that they didn’t want to see Jamie dancing to Britney’s music.

Both Jamie Lynn Spears and her “Dancing With The Stars” partner, Season 28 Champion and Juniors Champion Alan Bersten, took to social media on Tuesday morning to share the announcement that they will compete together in season 32 of “Dancing With The Stars,” which aired on Tuesday, September 26.
“Woooo!!!! I’m so excited to announce that I’m back for the 32nd season of @dancingwiththestars with my new partner @jamielynnspears !!!” Alan wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “Let’s go!” Unlike Jamie Lynn, she does not filter or moderate her comments, which leads to many negative comments about the actress Jamie Lynn.

“Damn. They made Alan dirty this year,” commented one fan. “It’s true. Like, let Alan live!!!” shouted another follower. “Alan…….. come on,” a third fan chimed in. “AS IF he had a choice in peeling it lol Alan didn’t say anything lol the producers decide who gets who….” another follower responded.
Fans also had a lot of concern that the producers would force Jamie Lynn to discuss her famous sister, especially since her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” dropped a month after the show premiered. “Ok but if she uses Britney’s fame in the competition I’ll stop watching,” commented one fan.
The fans don’t seem to have much faith in the producers to not interrupt the drama!

“You know she will and they will make her dance to Britney’s music without hesitation,” wrote another follower. “That would be really messed up if that happened!” another fan chimed in. “Oh, I hope not. That might push Britney Spears over the edge,” another follower wrote. “A mess, yes. Will it happen? Also, yes,” another fan agreed.
“Of course it’s going to push Brit over the edge, but I guarantee this will happen because producers love drama,” another follower shared. “He won’t have a choice – production always stirs up drama. They bring up college admissions scandals every week when Lori Laughlin’s daughter is on top,” one fan chimed in.

Luckily, there were also some fans who showed support for Alan in the midst of all the drama. “We love you, Alan!! don’t listen to any negativity. In her own Instagram post, the “Sweet Magnolias” actress said that she “decided to lace up my dancing shoes for a good cause” and explained that she decided to compete in season 32 of “Dancing With The Stars” to raise awareness for the WGA Writers’ Strike and SAG-AFTRA acting strike.
He wrote: “I’ve been offered a truly amazing opportunity from something I’m used to doing, but it’s while my community #SAG & #WGA are on strike & all of us members can’t work until we’ve reached a fair resolution, so if I can use this unique opportunity to bring more awareness and to donate the salary I get for dancing every week back to the community that has given me so much, so that’s the least I can do.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than @alanbersten to guide me through this adventure,” he continued. “I’m not going to lie, I’m scared, but I’m just going to have fun and hopefully give back in a meaningful way so we can ALL GET BACK TO OUR DAY JOBS.” Jamie Lynn limits the comments on her Instagram posts, so it’s no big surprise to see that they’re all positive and encouraging!
