On Thursday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a childhood photo with her fans. In the caption, she broke her silence on reports that her mother had actually traveled from Louisiana to Los Angeles to visit her daughter.
Britney wrote: “My sweet mom showed up at my door yesterday after 3 years … it’s been so long … with family there’s always things to work out … but time heals all wounds !!!”
“And after being able to deliver what I have held for such a long time, I feel very fortunate that we can try to do the RIGHT thing!!! I love ? you so much!!!” he concluded, quickly adding, “Psss… I’m so lucky we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping!!!”

There have been a lot of headlines made about Britney’s life since the premiere of the new documentary, but the “Toxic” singer wanted to tell her fans that she’s still trying to recover from what she went through during her conservatorship and fully admits “I know I’m not perfect.”
In the caption, Britney began, “I’m not sure why people try to bring up the negativity… you guys are always sneaky!!! I am talking about those who create lies !! I am a woman who has the right to drive whenever I want to go shopping .. whenever I want and I do a good job of admitting my practice just being a good person !!!”
“With that being said, I’m disgusted by people trying to say I’m unhealthy…people hate and I have 3 dogs and I’m quite happy with my simple lifestyle…I take care of myself!!” he continued. “I showered for 2 hours and I learned to be my awesome self !! Doesn’t mean I’m perfect!! I miss my kids so much and I think about them everyday!! Some days are better than others and I do a good job of keeping it up!!!”
