Looks like Britney Spears is ready to drop some new music.
There are rumors that the 41-year-old Pop Princess will release some new songs to coincide with the release of her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” on Tuesday, October 24.
However, aside from a two-day fan event for his 2002 film “Crossroads” held on October 23 and October 25, the week passed without any new music.
Fortunately, early Sunday morning, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to let her followers know she’s writing a new song and they only have one question: when can they hear it?

Early Sunday morning, the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer revealed that she had written a new song. While he didn’t tell his followers exactly what it was, he dropped a few hints, insisting that he has “no beef” with anyone.
In the caption of her Instagram post, she wrote, “I’m writing a new song!!! Hate you like me!!! No beef with anyone… just being a narcissist in a claimed and self entitled way!!! It’s to collect interest in giving ego with closed eyes because I heard important people doing it today ??.”
Comments have been disabled, but the post has been liked by more than 150,000 famous fans and friends in just six hours.
Britney Hopes for a ‘Clean Slate’
In a message posted to X, previously known as Twitter, and Instagram, the “Hold Me Closer” singer insisted that she never meant to “offend” anyone with her memoir just days before the book’s release. Instead, he insists that he has “moved on” from the events that took place “20 years ago” and is looking forward to a “beautiful clean write-up” from here on out.
“The purpose of my book is not to offend anyone in any way !!! That was me then … that was the past!!!” he started “I don’t like the headlines I read…that’s why I quit the business 4 years ago!!! Most of the books are from 20 years ago … I’ve moved and it’s a pretty clean slate from here!!!”
“I’m here to set it that way for the rest of my life!!!” he continued. “Anyway, that was the last one and s— happened !! This is actually a book that didn’t know to write … although some may be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”
“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book is not to quote my past experiences that the press did and it was stupid and stupid!!!” he concluded. “I’ve since moved on !! #TheWomaninMe.”

On Saturday afternoon, Britney took to Instagram to share a video of the orchestra playing. “Humor is the cure for everything!!! Keep playing!!! Volume 2 will be released next year … get ready !!!” she wrote in the caption, teasing a possible sequel to “The Woman In Me.” However, the video was deleted a few hours later.
Earlier this month, in a deleted Instagram video for Icona Pop’s “Fall In Love,” the “Overprotected” singer also teased the possibility of a second memoir. “Riding ‘n writing ✍? !!! What I’m doing at the moment … volume 2 after 1 ???♀️??♀️??♀️ !!!” she wrote in the caption along with the hashtag #TheWomanInMe.
Last week, however, Britney admitted that not only was her memoir difficult to write, but she didn’t like what she read about her life in the headlines. “So busy lately and there are so many hard to read things in the news about my book !!! Writing the book is very difficult ? !!!” she wrote in the caption. Fortunately, it seems she has her puppy, Snow, to make sure she doesn’t get grounded!
