Bruce Willis’ Daughter Posts Never-Before-Seen Throwback Pics of Him Amid Dementia Battle

Action star Bruce Willis’ daughter, Tallulah Willis, is full of love for her father. The “Die Hard” star is currently battling dementia after first being diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, which forced him to retire at the time.

Expressing her admiration for her father, Tallulah took to their Instagram to share a photo of their memories together. She added an emotional caption showing that she misses him being herself.

‘This Photo Touches Tonight’

Earlier in the year, it was revealed that Willis’ battle with aphasia had taken a turn for the worse as he also suffered from dementia.

Since then, his family and friends have kept the public informed of his condition. Recently, Willis’ daughter Tallulah took to Instagram to express her love for her father, apparently after taking a walk down memory lane to a time when he still had some sense of himself.

The 29-year-old, who goes by the Instagram name “buuski,” shared on the platform a picture of himself and his father. In one, the two can be seen cozying up to each other while sharing a one-seater sofa.

Another shot captures them together again on what appears to be a father-daughter vacation. The third photo is a photo of his California driver’s license, which shows that his father’s name is also part of his full name.

Adding to the emotional photo, Tallulah captioned it, “damn these pics are hitting tonight. You are my whole heart, and I am so proud to be your Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis.”

Others also wrote kind words, commenting on how Tallulah shares a strong bond with her father. One person commented, “Great photo of you two! I didn’t realize one of your middle names was Bruce! How wonderful.”

A second fan said, “I’m so happy you have this relationship with your dad! He is always one of the favorites! You look so much like him!”

A third fan said, “Your dad is amazing and so are you,” while another commented, “So sweet! Amazing bond, it’s so clear and beautiful.”

Another wrote, “A Beautiful and Blessed Time is Everything and You Spent It Wisely!!”

Bruce Willis No Longer ‘Verbal’

It comes a month after Glenn Gordon Caron, the mind behind Willis’ 1980 sitcom “Moonlighting,” told New York Post that the actor is no longer “fully verbal.”

“My feeling was the first one to three minutes he knew who I was,” said Caron, who revealed during the interview that he visits Willis from time to time.

He added of the actor, “He’s not completely verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he doesn’t read now. All those language skills are no longer available to him, but he’s still Bruce.”

The Hollywood showrunner also mentioned that Willis is no longer someone who loves life and adores waking up every morning to live life to the fullest.

Caron continued, “When you’re with him, you know that he’s Bruce, and you’re grateful that he’s there but the joie de vivre is gone.”

Bruce Willis’ Wife Says She ‘Struggles With Guilt’

Most recently, Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, spoke about struggling with guilt because she was more privileged to handle the actor’s condition, unlike many others who also have loved ones facing the same situation.

“I struggled with guilt, knowing that I had resources that no one else had,” Heming wrote in a recent op-ed about Maria Shriver’s Sunday paper. “When I can go out for a hike to clear my head, it’s not lost on me that not all care mates can do that,” he explained.

The mother of two also mentioned that it has made her choose the path to speak out about Willis’ condition in hopes that it will have an impact on others.

“I see that what I share matters to others who may be struggling, and in some small way makes them feel seen and understood,” the model added.
