Zach Shallcross sent Charity Lawson home after hometown on Monday night. The following night, on Tuesday’s episode of “Women Tell All,” “Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer sat down with Charity Lawson to do a little “This or That.” Palmer begins by asking simple questions like “Sunrise or sunset?” and “Camping or glamping?” But that’s when Palmer got down to business, asking Lawson “Bachelor in Heaven or The Bachelorette?” to which Lawson hesitated a little before answering “The Bachelorette”.

“I’m glad you said that, because Charity, I want you to be our next Bachelor,” Palmer said, dropping a bombshell and completely surprising Lawson.

The official “Bachelorette” Twitter account shared a video of the interaction between Palmer and Lawson, writing “We can’t wait to see Charity Lawson shine as #TheBachelorette ?✨.”

Many others commented on “The Bachelorette” Instagram post announcing Lawson as the next lead. “?? finally, they chose someone we all want,” said one user while another chimed in, “He’s awesome and smart. I like the way he handles himself. I just hope that the production of the show protects her from rude men who try to destroy her dignity like they have done to other girls in the past.”

Others felt that the show chose the wrong woman as one user commented, “I actually want Ariel to be the next Bachelorette if she doesn’t end up with Zach. I don’t think Charity is emotionally strong enough for the stress & pressure that comes with this process. But good luck to him & I hope they send a quality guy who will treat him right.”

“If Ariel comes home, I think she is more emotionally mature to handle the pressure of choosing between 30 men. charity will cry endlessly,” said another.

Palmer went on to describe the child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia as a loving and caring individual, saying, “Jelita Georgia took her name as a calling to love and care for people and has built her life around that. Amal is a mental health therapist and is passionate about helping people live their best lives.”

He continued, “Now, he’s ready to receive the love he gave to so many others! Amal hopes that her future husband will be honest, loyal and share the same morals.
