Cheryl Burke has embraced her solo era!
The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant opened up about her dating life since finalizing her divorce from actor Matthew Lawrence. And from all indications, finding a new lover is the last thing on her mind, especially after seeing the names that top her list of past relationships.

Although she claimed she was ready to dip her toe back into the dating pool last December, Burke seems to be contradicting that decision. He touched on the issue during the Race To Erase MS 30th Anniversary Gala held in Los Angeles on June 2.
“I’m really dating myself. I know it sounds so, like, cliche, ‘OK whatever.’ No, but actually, I don’t see, I’m not interested at the moment,” he said exclusively E! News at the event. It didn’t help that the two-time Mirrorball champion’s track record left a sour taste in his mouth. Answering that, he explained:
“I’m not a great picker. But until I change that pattern—I have to authentically change that pattern, or I’m going to keep making choices that might not be good for me.”

Regardless, the Filipino American dancer is focused on enjoying the love of her dog Ysabella, quipping, “I’m dating my dog, for god’s sake. They have no opinion; they’re great, they’re cute, and they smell maybe a little bit, but that’s okay.”
We’re excited to see that she has Ysabella, as the pup previously caused problems for her and Lawrence regarding their divorce settlement. In a legal document, obtained by The Blast at the time of the proceedings, it states in part:
“The Court expressly reserves jurisdiction for a later determination of the issue of ownership of the dog “Ysabella.”
Fortunately, the estranged couple didn’t have to struggle with their finances because they both waived their right to spousal support. They also agreed that Burke would keep earnings and royalties from “DWTS,” along with residuals and money earned with “QVC.” To that end, the document reads:
“On May 20, 2019, the Petitioner and Respondent signed a Prenuptial Agreement. (Agreement) is valid and enforceable in all respects, and neither Party challenges the validity of the Prenuptial Agreement. The terms of the Prenuptial Agreement are incorporated into this Judgment.”
In short, Burke and Lawrence abided by the terms they had agreed to through their prenuptial agreement. The “Boy Meets World” actor has moved on with TLC singer Chilli.

In the midst of his ex getting a new woman in early January, the television host updated his fans on how he’s doing. According to The Blast, she uploaded three photos on Instagram, with the first showing her smiling as she stood on a scooter wearing a white short-sleeved top and brown wide-leg pants.
She added a nude jacket, which matched her pumps perfectly, for the second slide shot and returned to a jacketless pose in the third shot. Under the image, the “Dancing Lesson” author revealed that she wanted to “check in” with her 734k followers following the many questions she’s been receiving about her performance lately. In response to the question, Burke wrote:
“If I could describe my feelings in one word, I honestly can’t. Every day brings its own happiness but also its own challenges. There are days where I wake up overwhelmed by my overwhelming sense of anxiety, allowing the outside world to define my identity.”
He added that he sometimes feels calm and anxious at other times, which helps him connect with his “true essence and purpose.” Finally, he is “proud to say” that he is “alone, not lonely.”
