He tweeted, “Noooo Immmm Noooooottttt!!!! You guys are going to kill me” when one online user called her a sex offender and then told another that “You guys are ruining my life.”
When someone later said that “Don’t forget he’s a pedo,” in a conversation with an online user who tried to defend him, Bell responded with, “Do a little research These are things that I have to deal with every day they would literally kill me. Blood on their hands…”

The recent comments came after the actor was reported missing and “endangered” earlier this month after allegedly threatening to kill himself in the days before his sudden disappearance.
Prior to his disappearance, Bell had reportedly argued with his wife, Janet Von Schmeling, and had threatened to “get drunk and hang himself,” according to reports.
The actor was later found “uninjured” at an undisclosed location, and he later tried to downplay his loss with a light-hearted tweet.
“You left your phone in the car and didn’t answer it for the night, and this?” he tweeted hours after police found him.
Although the actor has yet to confirm what happened when he was off the grid, it seems that a rift developed between him and his wife as he filed for divorce a week after her disappearance.

Every court document obtained by Explosion, the mother of one is asking the court to get primary legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old son, Wyatt. Schmeling also wants the court to order Bell to pay spousal support.
Before divorcing, Bell and Von Schmeling had problems in their marriage due to Bell’s health problems and addiction.
In January, she was caught smoking balloons in the back of her car with Wyatt, which apparently upset Von Schmeling and prompted her to move to Florida with their son.

He Pleaded Guilty to Child Endangerment

In 2021, Bell pleaded guilty to charges related to an incident involving a 15-year-old girl, now an adult, per Page Six.
The charges are attempted child endangerment and dissemination of harmful material to minors, with the former classified as a felony and the latter as a misdemeanor.
At the center of the issue, prosecutors claim the actor met the girl in 2017 at one of his concerts in Cleveland. It also alleges that Bell sent the girl “inappropriate social media messages,” which “breached his duty of care” and placed the teenager in potential danger.
In the end, Bell was given two years of probation and 200 hours of community service by the court. He also apologized publicly, saying his actions were “reckless and irresponsible.”
However, he clarified that he never sent any “sexual images” to the teenager and that “nothing physical” happened between him and her.
