The star has certainly had a challenging year, from her divorce to leaving the hit show “Dancing with the Stars” as a pro dancer after 17 years. In order to properly pull herself together to figure out a way forward in what looks like an uncertain future, she told fans in a video how she needed to detox and take a break from everything.

The television host took to her Instagram story to talk about how the week spent by herself had been “an amazing week of reflection, calm and meditation and trying to get my mind together,” as well as stepping into a new chapter in her life.

The 38-year-old described clearing his mind of the past few months as a great way to detox and it was definitely needed. Burke then advised her fans to try and do the same – be quiet with their thoughts because “it really gets loud in there, at least for me.”

Concluding his video, he states that time to decompress, observe and stop overthinking is what he needs. All of this seems to come after her announcement that she will be leaving “DWTS” after its current season.

The Blast shared that after she announced her exit from the popular show, the news resonated with her fans and viewers, who have come to love her dancing style and dedication throughout her 26 seasons.

In a photo posted to her page, the Northern California native appeared on the dance floor in a floor-length red dress, posing with her hands up, ready to dance while beaming at the camera.

In the caption, “I Can Do That,” the runner-up stated that she couldn’t find the words to express her conflicted emotions about dancing for the last time as a professional. The “Hell’s Kitchen” guest restaurant said it was the hardest decision of his life, but he’s sure it was the right one.

He thanked the cast, crew and everyone involved who had seen him through the ups and downs and was confident that it was the right time for him to start the “next phase” of his career.

While revealing that her next move may not involve her dancing, Burke declared that it will always be a part of her and dedicated her final dance to everyone who supported her along the way.

Overwhelmed with emotion, his fans left comments praising his hard work and expertise and expressing their sadness at seeing him go. One user wrote, “Love you Cheryl! U are a ballroom legend ❤️,” while another noted that while the news made them teary-eyed, they’re excited to see where her new journey takes her.

Fans of the star are aware that the two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champion divorced her husband of three years, Matthew Lawrence, in the middle of dancing during the show’s 30th season.

The Blast reported the shocking announcement as she expressed in her tribute post how difficult her time off was but she knew it was the best decision for her at the time. Speaking to Page Six, he said, “[It’s been] very hard. This is like another kind of divorce, but a good divorce,” and she was overcome with emotion as she held back tears.
