As the release date for Chris Brown and Chloe Bailey’s collaboration “How Does it Feel” draws closer, the “Party” frontman is praising Bailey in the cutest way!
Not long ago, the “Let It Shine” alum announced the highly anticipated collaboration on social media, and some fans weren’t too thrilled with Brown’s controversial history of abusing women.
For that matter, the “Stomp the Yard” actor’s recent gesture may not have been a favorite of critics, but a few showed support and appreciated Bailey for sticking with it amid the backlash.
Chris Brown Urges Chloe Bailey Not To Look Back Ahead Of New Collab Music Release
Brown was full of compliments as he sang Bailey’s song ahead of their upcoming collaboration, which will be released on Friday, February 24. She uploaded two images of her and Bailey on Instagram, including a highlighted version of their song’s cover art that featured their bodies touching closely with the “Takers” actor’s hand on Bailey’s waist as their heads touched.
The 24-year-old wore a black leather two-piece consisting of a body-hugging skirt and a long-sleeved blouse that showed off her chest. Instead, Brown rocked baggy pants, what might have been a turtle neck shirt, and an oversized jacket. She matched the look with a pair of shoes.
In the following slide, Bailey leans over the 33-year-old singer with her hand on his shoulder as she beams at the camera, pouting her lips and making a peace sign.
Brown wrote in the accompanying caption “24th. @chloebailey you are a beautiful soul… START THE WORLD, SHAWTY, AND DON’T LOOK BACK.” He continued, “YOU ARE THE QUEEN! DON’T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE! You followed your dreams, and now the universe fulfills that manifestation.
Despite criticism of the pair’s partnership, the post garnered nearly a million likes, with thousands flocking to the comments to give their opinions. Among the commenters, unsurprisingly, was Bailey, who said, “can’t wait for the world to hear the wonder we’ve created.” The encouraging words did not go unnoticed by his followers, as they reacted quickly.
A fan exclaimed, “Yes! Unite, create great music, and continue to be great entertainers! God has blessed you both, and HE has the final say.” A second user thanked the “Fighting Temptations” star for not turning his back on Brown when people made their judgments.
Likewise, another follower rooting for the two sent prayers, writing, “God bless you and keep going; you know that you have been chosen and chosen for this moment, and it is yours, so arise with a great awakening!”
Meanwhile, one commenter who believed Bailey wasn’t a full supporter of Brown amid the criticism wrote, “Well, you can stand up for him in some sort of way instead of letting it all fall on him.”
“Kiss Kiss” Singer Hits Out On Critics For Not Approving New Collaboration ‘How It Feels’
While a number of people around the world have praised Brown and Bailey for their collaboration, some have criticized the Georgia native’s announcement from the start.
He dropped the news of the latest collaboration on Instagram last weekend using a photo of their music cover and captioned it, “2ND PIECE. HOW DOES @chrisbrown FEEL? 24/2.”
Almost immediately, critics flooded the comments with vile remarks, highlighting Brown’s past assault on women, especially his partner. Someone said, “No, for various reasons. The most obvious [sic] his history of abusing multiple women, and also, he’s constantly posting conspiracy theories and spreading misinformation (on fire now). Doesn’t look good.”
Other commenters pointed out that the “Beautiful People” frontman has always been open in his songs about not dating or being involved with black women, which they believe doesn’t sit well with Bailey. A bewildered fan said: “Why do you keep letting her have such a bad career. Chloe, you can do better than this.”
The outpouring of criticism caught the “Look at Me Now” singer as she took to her Instagram story to address the haters by giving them some thought.

He raged, “IF YOU STILL HATE ME BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE I DID FOR 17 YEARS, please kiss my whole a**.” Brown further wrote that she was frustrated by the same narrative about her past circulating while comparing her situation to white people who had previously been accused of domestic abuse.
