Chris Brown Slams Critics Calling Him Anti-Semitic: ‘Do Not Wake Up The Demon In Me’

Singer Chris Brown is responding to the backlash after coming under fire for being allegedly anti-Semitic over a viral video of him with Kanye West.

The video shows the two dancing to West’s new music, which contains lyrics that refer to “Jewish b—-.” Many social media users condemned Brown for associating himself with the West.

Brown hit back at his critics by denying anti-Semitic labels and saying he was not a hater.

The “Forever” singer didn’t stop there, explaining that anti-Semitism is the wrong label for him. However, his second Instagram story post was much more peaceful than the first.

Brown has come under fire on social media for her controversial video with West. The clip shows the two music icons in Dubai, listening to West’s newly released track with Lil Durk and TY Dolla $ign.

The song has become very controversial because of the line where West raps, “How am I antisemitic? I’m just a b—- a Jew—-.”

In the video that went viral on Instagram, West and Brown are seen rocking out to the new song being played loudly. They were with Yeezy founder’s wife Bianca Censori, rapper TY Dolla $ign, Bump J, and several others. The rapper debuted “Vultures” via Chicago radio station Power 92 on November 17.

A video of West and Brown dancing to the song sparked immediate criticism on Instagram. Tanya Zuckerbrot, a Jewish businessman, openly criticized the duo and shared her disgust at their lyrics and actions. In his post, Zuckerbrot called West and Brown a pair of “sick, masochistic, and antisemitic f—–.”

Fan comments on the video’s Instagram post also slammed West for the anti-Semitic song and Brown for apparently enjoying the music. One comment read, “Let the record industry chew on this. Let them never work again.”

A second critic wrote in a comment, “Chris Brown and Kanye West: two of the most troubled rappers of all time.”

Another comment read, “Chris has some free time between hitting on his girlfriend, I guess.” The statement refers to Brown’s history of physical and verbal abuse of ex-girlfriends, including Rihanna and Karrueche Tran.

A fourth critic stated, “I don’t understand how this is allowed to be a song. Why do we as a society allow any song that demeans an entire group of people? I don’t listen to rap but I think it’s normal to do this in a form of music about so many different people and I’m surprised that our society supports it in any form.”

The anti-Semitic controversy surrounding Brown is just the latest of his many problems with fans. He had to rebuild his career after legal issues related to physical and verbal abuse.

This legal battle included him pleading guilty to assault charges against Rihanna in 2009 and multiple counts of assault and battery.

The “Not Sure” singer has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and, like West, suffers from bipolar disorder.

West, for his part, has barely recovered from the damage done to his music and business career after his anti-Semitic controversy began last year.

In the months since Ye made the statement to commit “3 deaths to the JEWS,” he has been harshly and repeatedly condemned by the press and the public. The “Good Morning” rapper lost his business partnerships with brands like Adidas, Gap, JP Morgan. and Balenciaga.
