In a recent throwback photo shared on Instagram, Pratt is seen striking Arnold’s popular pose from the 1974 photo book, “Pumping Iron.” A teenage-looking Pratt wore blue wrestling gear and flexed his biceps to the side just like Schwarzenegger while scowling.
In the accompanying caption, the 44-year-old Hollywood man talks about how wrestling changed his life. “Wrestling showed me that I’m tougher than I thought. It pushed me beyond my mental and physical limits, instilling an inner strength that still guides me,” he began.
Pratt continued, “Today, I take on physically demanding challenges with the confidence that wrestling has given me – no matter how hard it is, I can finish it. If you are a child reading this, remember, it is hard work, but the rewards are incredible and satisfying.”
Fans supported Pratt’s opinion in the comments section, sharing their stories of how wrestling has had a positive effect on them. One follower wrote, “When you’ve struggled everything in life is easy,” while another added, “You’re the man Mr. Pratt. I hope and pray to meet you one day.”

Pratt and Arnold have one of the most enviable father-son relationships in Hollywood, as they never shy away from openly loving each other. Back in May when “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” premiered, the “Conan the Barbarian” star led the praise for her daughter’s husband’s performance.
“I saw #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 last night and WOW. @prattprattpratt, you crushed it. The combination of comedy and action is non-stop and perfect. I love it and I’m very, very proud of you,” the former politician wrote in X’s post.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” actor was very touched by the gesture and during an interview with People Magazine talked about how much his father-in-law’s public support was for him.
Pratt said, “Arnold’s support means the world to me on several different levels. Just being his son-in-law and being a part of his family, it means a lot to have his support.” He then added:
“But then on another level, just being someone who grew up loving the movies, the big action heroes — I dreamed of being a Commando and I dreamed of being a soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator. So him giving me credit for coming out and being on the marquee was really surprising.”

The younger actor often talks about his relationship with Arnold and how he is the best grandfather to his two daughters, Lyla Maria, 2, and Eloise Christina, 11 months. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Minnesota native revealed the unique nickname her daughter gave to their famous grandfather.
“Isn’t that very nice? Arnold, Opa, Arnold we call him, he came to the premiere,” Pratt said. “And yes, he was very kind to give me love and support on his social media. He really liked the movie.”
When asked if Arnold was genuine with his public praise, Pratt replied, “I think he would be honest with me. If he didn’t like it, I don’t think he would have posted it.”
