James Corden should take a page out of Conan O’Brien’s playbook.
And we’re not talking about his late night talk show playbook. We’re talking about Conan’s goodness playbook.
The former host of “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” reportedly took drastic measures when his employees decided to be rude to restaurant staff.
Conan Will Not Put Up With Rude Or Impatience

A former writer on the Conan show revealed on Twitter that the red-haired comedian once fired someone for their bad behavior towards a restaurant employee.
Todd Levin wrote for “Conan” from 2010 to 2020. He described how his boss became irritated when an unnamed employee became “impatient and rude” to a server.
Conan Fires A Crewman For Being Rude To The Server
“On CONAN there was a crew member who was fired because Conan witnessed him being impatient and rude to a waitress at a restaurant,” Levin wrote on Twitter. “Just remembering that now, for no particular reason.”

Anyone else feeling heavy sarcasm here?!
Levin tweeted this a day after news of Corden’s misbehavior toward several restaurant workers broke.
Conan did not address Levin’s tweets or allegations.
Explosion has covered Corden’s restaurant drama since day one.
Corden Compared To ‘Cretin Of A Man’ For Terrible Behavior

The British talk show host’s bad behavior was exposed by NYC restaurant owner Keith McNally.
McNally is a seasoned restaurateur who currently owns Balthazar in Brooklyn, NY.
On October 17, McNally took to Instagram to share a pixelated photo of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” host along with some warm words.
“James Corden is a very talented comedian but a little Cretin. And the rudest customer to my waiter Balthazar since the restaurant opened 25 years ago,” the Londoner began.
McNally shared that she’s not usually one to call customers but she had to talk about the show’s host because of the way Corden treated his staff.
To make matters worse, the restaurant claimed that the English comedian had exhibited lewd behavior at his former restaurant, Cafe Luxembourg, several years ago.
The restaurant owner went on to cite two instances where the “Cats” star was hissy and mean to his staff.
Even intended.
Corden Reportedly Yelled At Restaurant Staff
Recalling his manager’s first report of Corden, McNally wrote, “In June, James Corden was here at table 61. (Although this is bad, it happens very occasionally in all restaurants.) After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar the manager of G. who is very apologetic.”

He continued, “Corden really hated G and said, “Give us a round of this second drink. And also take care of all our drinks so far. This way, I write any nasty reviews on yelp or anything like that.’”
The second incident occurred earlier this month on October 9, when Corden visited Balthazar with his wife for lunch and requested an outside table. His wife Julia Carey reportedly ordered an egg yolk omelet with gruyere cheese and salad.
McNally writes, “A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, MK, and told her that there was some egg white mixed in with the yolk. MK informed the floor manager, G. Dapur remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad.”
“You Can’t Do Your Job” Corden Yells At Staff
It was at that mistake that the 44-year-old “Gavin & Stacey” star lost it and screamed like a madman at the waiter, saying, “You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go to the kitchen and cook myself an omelet!”
McNally shared that the waiter reached out to the manager, who came out to smooth things over, even offering them a promo Champagne glass.
As the negative press surrounding Corden went viral, the talk show host issued an apology.
McNally explained on Instagram, “James Corden just called me and apologized profusely. Having messed up more myself than most, I’m a big believer in second chances. So if James Corden lets me host his Late Show for 9 months, I’ll immediately unban him from Balthazar. No of course not. But…anyone who is gracious enough to apologize to an erratic layabout like me (and my staff) does not deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar. So Back to 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is forgiven. Xx.”
McNally wasn’t the only person to publicly call Corden out. “The Try Guys” Keith Habersberger’s wife, Becky Habersberger, also claims to have seen Corden go AWOL with a restaurant bus boy.
