Tyra Banks recently confirmed that she will be leaving her hosting gig on “Dancing With the Stars” after three seasons.

While fans are hoping to see Tom Bergeron return as host, or “Bachelor” star Gabby Windey take over, the Disney+ reality television show has decided to go in a different direction and bring back past “Dancing With the Stars” pros and judges to replace Tyra Banks — none other than Julianne Hough.

Reports have confirmed that Julianne Hough will return to the ballroom and replace Tyra Banks as co-host. Alfonso Ribeiro will return as a co-host alongside the “Dancing With the Stars” alum, while his brother, Derek Hough, will return to the judges’ table alongside Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Hough has experience beyond being a professional dancer on the show as she was a judge from 2014-2017. He also returns as a guest judge on the show in 2021. He also has experience hosting a television show as for the past few years, he and his brother Derek Hough have hosted the special “Disney’s Wonderful World: Magical Holiday Celebration”.
