The “Bachelor in Paradise” star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself looking like a real-life Barbie doll. Her caption, however, caught the attention of fans when she talked about not being invited to the “Barbie” movie premiere while many other members of Bachelor Nation, such as JoJo Fletcher, Charity Lawson, and Susie Evans, were in attendance.

“This Barbie would love to be invited to the premiere ??✨,” he wrote in the caption. “Although I say no 7 times out of 10, I really enjoy the 3 times I say yes. I feel like part of the community when I’m invited. When I see all my friends at an event and I don’t get invited, I feel like I’m not part of the community anymore.”

He continued, “I know how stupid it is to complain on Instagram about not being invited to an event; but there is more to this. I know I’m not alone in feeling this way and I want to talk about how to help other people not feel this way. It’s just little things like picking me up that will help me feel safer. And I’m sure others can relate to the ? moral of my complaint: invite people even if you THINK they don’t want to go. And if you hate me, just say so.”

Many were quick to support Burnett, saying they understood where he was coming from. “This Barbie will always invite our Demi Barbie to any event we ever do ????️,” one fan wrote while another chimed in, “You’re iconic don’t let this hurt you I’ve watched so many seasons and not one like DEMI?.”

Another commented, “Honestly, it FEELS like this OFTEN as a disabled person. Even friends who ‘should know better’ get tired of picking you up when you can’t show up and quit before you can.”

While one of her fans stated, “I understand and really feel that about myself too, but I just noticed that people who refuse don’t get invited. And I’ve been on the other side too. When I have a party, if I keep inviting someone and they keep saying no, eventually I stop. I feel like a burden to them and like they don’t prioritize me or they don’t enjoy the event. Keep in mind that it may seem like you don’t want to go so they don’t want to bother you.”

One of her fans commented, “It’s so wild I read this today because literally this morning I was wondering what it’s like to be a part of “Bachelor Nation” and if they invite everyone to everything or if some people get left out and how horrible that will feel.”

The same fan later added, “You deserve to go and be a part of it. If you’re my friend and I’m invited and you’re not, I’ll make sure you get invited or I’ll stay with you. I hope we all treat each other better. I would love to see you at the event! You look like Barbie, it must be perfect. ?♥️.”
