American actress Diane Keaton has expressed her reluctance to enter into a relationship and marriage. Keaton revealed that she is not dating and enjoys being a single woman. He had two adopted children but never married.

In a recent interview for the May/April 2023 issue of AARP MagazineKeaton stated that he likes being single and is “very unlikely” to go on a date or start a new relationship anytime soon.

“I’m not dating,” he shared in the interview. “I don’t remember anyone calling me and saying, ‘This is so-and-so; I want to ask you out.’ They don’t happen. Of course not.”

The “Looking for Mr. Goodbar” actor has previously been linked to several A-list celebrities, including Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino, but has never been linked to them.

As recently as January, Keaton shared that he last went on a date about a decade and a half ago, saying his suitors probably thought it was weird.

“Say 15 years… They might just think, ‘That’s enough…he’s too weird.’ I’m a little weird, but I’m fine,” he said, per ExtraTV, after being questioned by the host.

The actor added, “One day… someone will marry me… Maybe one of today’s good men who has to deal with me today.”

In a 2019 interview with People magazineKeaton expressed his joy at not being married, explaining that he wasn’t built for it.

“I feel like I’m weird,” shared the Oscar-winning actress. “I don’t know anything, and I don’t study. Getting older doesn’t make me wiser.”

In his fifties, Keaton adopted his son Dexter, now 27, and his son Duke, now 22. As his children have moved on in recent years, he has been forced to adjust to the company of his pet dog, Reggie.

“Today I think about this, I’m 73 years old and I think I’m the only one in my generation and maybe before that who has been a single woman all her life,” she told the publication, reflecting on marriage at the time. .

Keaton went on to share that she’s not sad about the reality of her single life because “I think I need more of the motherly side.”

“What makes him happy is that he is like a bull. He was like attacking me. And in that scene, I acted a little cautious, but in my heart, I felt the same way about him and I wanted to do it right,” Keaton shared while on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
