Did Imogen Heap Hint At A Future Taylor Swift Rerecording?

‘Swifties’ now have another proof that Taylor Swift has been quite busy lately!

Not that his loyal fans necessarily need anything. Even the most casual listener of Swift’s music may have seen the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer in action as she is in the process of launching a new career era into the pop music scene!

The 32-year-old is currently right in the middle of this process; The Blast has been keeping an eye on ‘Blondie’ lately as he begins rolling out his tenth album “Midnights,” which will be released on October 21st!

Swift announced “Midnights” on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in late August, and over the next month, began revealing the names of 13 “Midnights'” songs in a series on her TikTok account she called “Midnights Mayhem With Me,” as well as revealing versions of additional album covers and backs, to name a few tidbits!

However, it looks like Swift isn’t just focused on her upcoming album.

Singer Imogen Heap, who has been a Swift collaborator in the past, shared an Instagram story that will soon be on Swifties’ radar! Read on to find out what Heap’s Instagram post means for Swift’s next career move.

Turning Back The Clock: A Look Back At The Swift And Heap Collaboration

Swift is poised to make a difference in the mid-2010s. After declaring that he believes love is “burning red” on his 2012 LP “Red”, which featured glimpses of pop brilliance, his next album “1989” will be a complete departure from any material his fans have heard.

“1989” features an eighties-inspired synth beat and a track that seems to reflect the delicate feel of the album.

One of those songs, “Clean,” was co-written with Heap.

Heap has been candid with his fans as he later reflects on the recording process for the track.

According to Billboard, Heap detailed his experience in a blog post.

“I have to be honest here and say that I haven’t done my homework on Taylor Swift a little bit,” he wrote, “but have done what I HATE other people do to me, which is to judge someone based on assumptions. . I have assuming Taylor doesn’t write too much of her own music (as is the case with many very successful young artists these days who sell a lot of records),” he continued, “and most likely get hitched by an aging music executive.”

The two have also taken polaroid photos together. Polaroids have become an aesthetic aspect of the “1989” album; standard and deluxe versions of the album are both included set of polaroid pictures!

Swifties were suddenly overcome with “1989” vibes on Tuesday, October 4th!

Swift’s fan account @repqueen782 on Twitter shared a tweet yesterday featuring a screenshot of Heap’s Instagram story, where Heap is leaning against a piano. The caption said, “Been working on a little rework of a certain song from a certain artist when the studio was free. Stayed up all night. Not playing this piano or [have] already [at] house around for centuries.”

While there’s been no clear confirmation from Swift or her team about new information regarding the “1989” re-recording, Swifties on Twitter seem to believe Heap is strongly implying that she’s working on a “Clean” re-recording.

Swift has released two songs from Taylor’s re-recorded version of “1989” so far. “Wildest Dreams” (Taylor’s Version) was released last year after the original version experienced success on TikTok, and “This Love (Taylor’s Version)” was featured in the trailer for the Amazon Prime TV adaptation of Jenny Han’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty” book series .
