Experts recommend that DJs pay between $49k to $62k per month in monthly support. He is not entitled to spousal support because of a clause in their prenuptial agreement. So far, he’s been paying $18k a month for the temporary child support agreement that’s been set up, but Thierry wants (or needs) more.
The couple were married for two years and divorced, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause. In February, Thierry was in court demanding $80k a month in child support and took no issue with DJ Mustard wanting joint physical and legal custody of their children.
One thing he does is “disconnecting authority” over “decisions about the health and education” of children.

Thierry has stated that DJ Mustard, who now has a new significant other, is difficult to deal with. It has become “increasingly difficult to co-parent with Mustard because he is not communicating or responding to his text messages.”
She also claimed that DJ had “starved her financially,” to which she filed papers denying the allegations.

“Chanel’s claim that I have starved her financially because of the breakup is an obvious lie. When Chanel and I separate in May 2022, I will continue to uphold my responsibility to support her and the children.”
His statement continued. “I continue to pay all of Chanel’s living expenses, including her credit card bills. I also continue to pay for Chanel’s housing costs, handbag expenses, and private school tuition.”
