The publication’s lengthy excerpt saw the Grammy Award winner open up about plastic surgery after being praised for proudly showing off her natural body in an industry shrouded in cosmetic surgery.
However, Doja does not see the concept of plastic surgery as changing who you are or not loving your body. In her words, “Now, to me, beauty is against it. I love when you take something that might be classically beautiful and twist it and make it your own. To me, it’s more about ‘are you happy?’ various things.”
He continued, “I want my fans to learn that they don’t have to be like everyone else and that what they want is already there. They haven’t found it yet, and when they do, they’ll say, ‘How did I not see it? How did I miss this?’”
