Former President Donald Trump was recently photographed with what appeared to be blood on his right palm. Unfortunately, the photo has led to conspiracies and wild theories on social media, including trending the word “syphilis.”
A photo of Trump was taken as he left the E. Jean Carroll hearing on Wednesday. While waving to his supporters, the embattled politician accidentally revealed red marks on his palms and fingers.

While Trump was in Florida supporting his wife, Melania Trump, during her mother’s funeral, his name was dragged on social media because his red hand sores were linked to syphilis.

In the photos, Trump’s right hand appears injured, with red spots scattered across his palm.
Now, a source close to the former President has told the news outlet that it was just a “paper cut” that caused the blood to spread on Trump’s palm. However, social media has been abuzz with theories about what Trump’s injury actually was.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, the hashtag #SyphilisDon has been trending, with several individuals claiming the former President has “hand herpes.”
Online commenter Ron Fancy stated that the wound looked like a “cut” to him. He added that he shared an image of Trump’s palm with several medical doctors, asking, “What medical conditions are manifest through hand wounds?
Fancy goes on to state that “the answer [was] secondary syphilis immediately and unanimously.” He added that he believed Trump had “a standing ovation.”
#SyphilisDonI think Trump will die in prison like Gotti not Capone. All better. This could explain Trump’s mental decline. It’s not Alzheimer’s but Syphilis. pic.twitter.com/S11Tu7q8sE

A second person tweeted, “Raise your hand if you’re the ‘Worse Germophobe Ever.’ #SyphilisDon”
A third individual said, “#SyphilisDon is trending because Trump’s word salad is getting worse, and he has clear marks on his hands.”
Again, Donald Trump’s team is clear that it’s a simple paper cut. Of course, the situation is indicative of the frenzy going on online as the 2024 election ramps up.
Donald Trump Supports His Wife At Her Mother’s Funeral

The wild accusations made against the former president came during his visit to Florida, where he joined his wife, Melania, for the private funeral of his mother, Amalija Knavs.
The family laid Knavs to rest after the service at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach.
Images from the event show the former first lady looking straight-faced while wearing a black suit and dark sunglasses. Melania stood with her father, Viktor Knavs, and her 17-year-old son, Barron. The trio stood by as pallbearers carried Knavs’ casket, covered in beautiful white flowers, into the church, which is not far from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

Other family members attending the funeral included Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, Tiffany Trump, and Kim Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancee.
