Entrepreneur Elon Musk announced on Wednesday that he will not donate money to US Presidential Candidates in what looks like another race between former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden.
The Tesla CEO, who has been outspoken about his political views on social media, made the announcement a day after Super Tuesday, in which Donald Trump swept a majority of states.

Amid rumors that he will donate money to presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, Elon Musk is using X, the social media platform he rebranded from Twitter, to set the record straight.
“Just to be very clear, I am not donating money to any candidate for US President,” he tweeted. Despite many comments asking who he would vote for in the upcoming Presidential election, Musk chose not to answer.

Instead, he followed his message with a caption that read, “Government power gets stronger every year.” It was placed over a quote from Frank Herbert’s “Dune,” reading, “All governments suffer from a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. Not a destructive power but a magnet to the corruptible.”

After several losses, including in her home state of South Carolina, Nikki Hayley suspended her campaign after announcing that she was suspending her campaign. Shortly after his announcement, current US President Joe Biden welcomed his supporters to vote for him in the upcoming election.

On his social media platform, Truth Social, Donald Trump made his own statement about Haley’s suspended campaign. “Nikki Haley SHOCKED last night, by going on the record, despite the fact that Democrats, for some unknown reason, were allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republicans,” Trump wrote. “Most of his money comes from Radical Left Democrats, as do many of his voters, almost 50%, according to opinion polls. At this point, I hope he stays in the ‘race’ and fights to the end!”
