In March, the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star was charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor assault and harassment in connection with an incident with his ex-girlfriend.
Earlier that month, Majors’ ex (who was not identified during the scandal) accused him of slapping her in a taxi after they spent the night drinking and partying in New York. Several videos of their night together were shared by the Majors team to prove his innocence. One video shows the ex drinking and partying at the club hours after she claims Majors hit her.
Per TMZ, the actress’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, provided more videos and texts from the alleged victim, telling Majors the arrest was a misunderstanding by police. He has been charged with third-degree assault, which carries a maximum sentence of one year or three years’ probation.

Earlier last week, Majors made a virtual appearance for a brief hearing in Manhattan Criminal Court in New York. After the hearing, Chaudhry made a statement to People’s Magazinewhere he said his team had provided “irrefutable evidence” of Majors’ innocence to the District Attorney’s office.
In the statement, Chaudhry accused the alleged victim of lying about what happened between him and Majors. The woman’s identity is still being withheld by authorities, and it has not been confirmed whether she has legal representation. The major’s next hearing is set for June 13, and the presiding Judge Pauley said he must appear physically for it.
He said, per Deadline, “I am required to inform you that, as you know, if you fail to appear in court on June 13, a warrant can be issued for your arrest within 48 hours, and if you are brought back on that warrant, the next judge can cancel and also set guarantee. I don’t want that to happen.” He also reminded the actor that he was bound by a protective order obtained by his alleged victim.
