Today marks 14 years of marriage to the greatest love of my life. I woke up with a full heart but all I could think about was the good deeds of others yesterday that I wanted to share because they inspired me.”
Emma continued, “During a school function for our children, I told my friend that our anniversary was tomorrow. Finally, I got a text from my friend that day saying he left “something little” for me at my door. It was this sweet bouquet of flowers (pictured) with a note that said Happy Birthday among other things.”
The model then deviated further by revealing her struggles as she cared for her husband, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in February 2023.
He added, “It made me think about how difficult these kinds of ‘special occasions’ can be for guardians. When normally our people would acknowledge the event, now their changing brains can’t. And that’s the point.”
