After what fans considered a disastrous “Love Is Blind” finale, viewers of the reality show have started a petition to replace Nick and Vanessa Lachey as hosts.
Just days after the climax hit Netflix, the petition has garnered thousands of signatures asking the show to consider hiring a new host for the next season.

Fans of Netflix’s hit dating show “Love Is Blind” are making their voices heard after what many are calling an emotional finale.
A change.org petition titled “Remove Nick and Vanessa Lachey as Hosts of Love Is Blind” is now going viral, gaining thousands of signatures.
The petition argues that from the first season, Nick and Vanessa Lachey as hosts felt “a bit useless and out of place” as both seemed “more concerned with directing attention to themselves and their personal lives than focusing on the contestants actually participate in the experiment”.
The fan who created the petition also stated that the show was “being held back from its full potential with cranky Nick and Vanessa Lachey”.

Nick Lachey, in particular, was called out for his seemingly shady comments toward his ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, when he claimed “second marriages are always the best” at the season 3 reunion.
While Vanessa Lachey was targeted for seeming to want “as much camera time as possible by cutting off every conversation, talking about her husband and contestants, and acting really bad like she cares about the cast members”.
The petition went on to state, “Nick or Vanessa made no effort to guide the cast through a confusing and emotional experience and blatantly tried to stir up drama and leave. Other disrespectful behavior included Nick saying ‘Obviously – I’m Nick Lachey’ when introducing himself (we understand you’re a C-List celebrity congrats), letting the season 2 reunion get completely out of hand and targeting certain contestants instead of treating them equally during the trial”.
During the fourth season reunion, which was a disaster before it aired due to lengthy delays, fans called out Vanessa Lachey for being “biased”, specifically between contestants Paul Pedan and Micah Lussier.
It concluded by saying, “Join thousands of Love is Blind fans in making the show grow into the best version of itself by removing Nick and Vanessa Lachey as hosts and replacing them with…. Well literally everyone else.”
At the time of publication, the petition has nearly 30,000 signatures from “Love Is Blind” fans worldwide.

Not everyone is on board with the show’s host as second season alum Shayne Jansen defended Nick and Vanessa Lachey in a Q&A on his Instagram Stories.
A fan asked the “Love Is Blind” alum, “Is Vanessa always like that? The reunion was embarrassing IMO,” to which Jansen replied, “They were the nicest human beings I’ve ever had.”
Neither Nick nor Vanessa Lachey, who has hosted “Love Is Blind” since the show began in 2020, has yet to comment on the ongoing backlash over the reunion episode.
