Post Malone has given a Scottish musician the chance of a lifetime and a home.
The rapper met singer-songwriter Gregor Hunter Coleman after seeing him perform during his regular set at Glasgow’s Wunderbar. The lucky artist has shared details of what happened when he was invited to meet the “Sunflower” songwriter after his band ended a few days ago. Malone has been in town for a show at the Hydro as part of his ongoing Twelve Carat tour.
Gregor Hunter Coleman Remains Grateful To Post Malone For Changing His Life Recently
Although Coleman is overjoyed to meet Malone, he soon realizes that something bigger awaits him. Recalling how things went that night, the pop singer stated:
“He said, ‘Do you want a drink?’ I was like, ‘Listen, I’m saving for home, so I didn’t drink earlier.’ Stupid; my friends say, ‘Why are you turning down a drink from Post Malone?’”

However, the “Rockstar” rapper respected the vocalist’s decision, instead inviting him to sing at an official event after his concert. “He started saying, ‘How much are you going to charge?’ I said, ‘Nothing,’ it was Post Malone; this is the opportunity of a lifetime. He talked to me and offered to help me with my house deposit,” Coleman told BBC news.
Although she was tight-lipped about the amount the buxom superstar donated, the “Too Good to Me” singer called the encounter “weird,” adding, “Things going around say he bought me a house. This has helped me now have a deposit.”
Malone also gave the Glaswegian star his digits, offering to listen to some of his original projects. Regarding that, he explained:
“There is pressure now that I have to complete a good song; I need to get something going with it instead of just being, like, I met Post Malone and [went] back to the pub. Hopefully, he’s still interested, and he still wants to hear it, and he likes it. If not, then it’s back to the drawing board.”
The reaction of this super fan was the opposite of the one he got when he entered a QT hotel in Perth, Australia, last February. As reported by The Blast, the “Better Now” performer was rejected for having too many tattoos.
At last count, the 2020 Billboard Top Artist has at least 12 tattoos etched on his face, including the words “Stay Away” written above his eyebrows, “Always Tired” spelled out under his eyes, a thin sword placed on his cheek, and wire spiky drawn on her hairline.
Malone must have missed the hotel’s memo that it considers “offensive faces, necks and tattoos” a violation of their strict policy and tried to enter its rooftop bar. Within minutes, security asked him to leave the property because he would not get any service from them, no thanks to his “offensive tattoo”.

Shortly after the American Music Award winner expressed his disbelief at the incident, hotel management released a statement claiming:
“At QT, we aim to welcome everyone and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. QT has been recognized for this for many years. However, on Saturday night, our third party security did not use proper discretion, and we take full responsibility for this. We apologize to the individuals affected.”
The Grammy Nominated Record Producer has settled the debate surrounding his recent drug habit allegations
Malone had to dismiss rumors that he had become a drug addict after netizens complained that he had lost too much weight last month. To achieve this, he took to Instagram to upload a photo showing himself posing next to a pair of combat cowboy boots, along with the caption:
“hello everyone, I hope you have a great night. I would like to say that I do not use drugs, I have many people asking about my weight loss and I guess, the performance on stage. I really enjoy performing, and have never felt better.”
The “Congratulations” singer, who was on the European leg of her tour as previously mentioned at the time, later explained that she had stopped drinking soda and eating better to “last longer” for her “little angel.” He intends to take things further by quitting “smoking and drinking” next, which will take longer. He mentioned that he was creating new music before stating:
“you make my heart skip a beat. I just wanted to say hello, and hopefully I’ll be posting more here, my brain is in a really rough place, and I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”
Malone concludes by assuring those who are going through “hard times” or need “love” that they are loved beyond their thoughts and feelings.
