The actor has been sued by a man who claims he crashed into him on a ski slope and caused him severe mental and some physical damage. The documentary will be called Gwyneth vs. Terry: Ski Accident Trial, and it comes to us from Discovery+.
The documentary will drop in two parts later in 2023 and will focus on how dramatic and, at times, funny the trial was, closely followed by those who were surprised that the award-winning actor was sued over a family vacation.
The accuser, Terri Sanderson, and Paltrow collided on the slopes in 2016, an incident she claims left her with permanent brain damage. In the end it was found that Sanderson, for all his faults, was the guilty man and lost the trial.

Sanderson and his legal team were able to persuade a side of Paltrow that no one had seen before. The retired optometrist, 76, famously made Paltrow lose “half a day of skiing” when she ran into him.
She also stated that he yelled and screamed profanities at her, which Paltrow admitted to using the F word quite loudly after HE bumped into her. He also allegedly apologized to Paltrow for bumping into her during this time.
Paltrow’s children were pulled to the stand to testify about what they said. They were asked about their mother’s behavior after the collision. Musa had to testify after hearing his mother swear and his mother was upset because she had to sit outside for half the day.

The actor and his team released a statement after his court victory. “We are happy with the decision and appreciate the judgment of the judge and jury. Gwyneth has a history of standing up for what’s right, and this situation is no different. He will continue to stand up for what is right,” said his lawyer, Stephen Owens.
Later, a rep for Paltrow released a statement that appeared to be the actress’s words. “I feel that acquiescing to false claims compromises my integrity.”
The statement continued, “I am pleased with the verdict, and I appreciate all the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their care in handling this case.”
At the time, Paltrow had countersued Sanderson for a measly $1. He doesn’t need money, which is symbolic enough.

The production company responsible for the new court series is also producing Johnny vs. Amber and Kim v. Kanye: The Divorce for streaming services. And after Gwyn and Terry, they turn to Nicola Peltz’s father, Nelson Peltz, and his legal battle with his former wedding planner.
He accused them of ruining the Peltz marriage and not being able to produce a million dollar wedding. He accused them of going beyond their means because of the big name attached to the marriage. And most importantly, he wants his deposit of over $100k back.
The planners, Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, filed their legal documents refusing to return the money, and attaching the marriage documents was a nightmare to follow.
