Gymnast Nastia Liukin hasn’t posted a ‘Get Ready With Me’ video in a while but she’s back this weekend to share a spring-inspired outfit with her followers.
While some fans loved her yellow dress and see-through leggings, other followers took to the comments to continue expressing concern about her weight on speculation that she might be struggling with an eating disorder – which is a pretty serious accusation to make.

In her latest Instagram post, set to Cam’Ron’s “Oh Boy” featuring Jelz Santana, Nastia begins the video by slipping into see-through leggings. Her black panties could be seen beneath the sheer material as she arranged them over her narrow hips.
She pulled her sleeveless yellow dress up and turned to shake her hair in the mirror. After looking at herself in front of the mirror and putting on black knee-high boots, Nastia exits the camera to start her day.
She tags @fuzzibrand for the top, which she says she “made” a very mini dress, @gucci for the see-through tights and @ganni for the boots. “Linked it all in my LTK – which you can find in my bio and also on my story,” he added.

Some fans praised the video. “Spring/pastel colors are so free for you! I don’t think most people can wear that color well, but you sure can!” commented a fan. “Oh tysm! Really loving the spring vibe / color palette right now,” replied Nastia. “Definitely the time of year!! Keep rocking!” the fan replied.

Other Fans Worry Nastia May Be ‘Too Skinny’

“Man, every video lately is a body check. At least that’s what the algorithm showed me…. Even though I know she’s naturally thin, this video is clearly a body check,” commented one follower, and it’s not the first time Nastia has been accused of putting a “body check” on Instagram.
Other followers also seemed confused as to what the video meant, as Nastia didn’t seem too happy while showing off her spring clothes. “Wait. What does he see around him? Is this supposed to be a general IG outfit reveal, or is this a skit I don’t understand? Genuine question,” another user commented.

“Super thin. Is this healthy?” another follower asked. “No, his knee bones are starting to stick out as well as his elbow joints and his cheekbones are getting sharper and hollowing out his cheeks…. that’s not healthy. I have anorexia. I know the markers and this is clearly a body check video,” another user commented.
“At what point will his close friend say something? He is not well,” shared another follower. “I think you have no place to talk about other people’s bodies (and no one) really likes? these comments baffle me, and we should lift someone else up; instead of tearing each other down… especially behind a screen,” another user replied.

However, other followers insisted that they weren’t trying to be “cruel” by commenting on Nastia’s weight, just expressing concern. “I think people who think they have no place to speak aren’t doing her any favors,” wrote another follower. “There’s something wrong.”
“You said he needs to be brought up, I mean it. I didn’t drop him. I say he needs his friends to show support and point out what he clearly doesn’t see,” they continued. “People with eating disorders are usually the last to notice something is wrong.”

Another follower wrote, “She’s a gymnast. He was thin and always very thin. I wish I was thinner but not too thin. I feel very strongly that he is very healthy and strong but just thin.” Another user said, “2008 was a very long time ago. It is not fair to compare then with now. Do you look the same from that? None of us did! Let him be.”
Other followers openly wondered how long it took for Nastia to take down the comments on her videos, as she usually disables comments after people start discussing her weight as a sign that her body size is inappropriate for discussion.
