Hailey Bieber has finally addressed fan backlash regarding her relationship with Selena Gomez.

The Blast has covered several aspects of the two’s alleged feud over the past month. Speculation that the two women harbor ill will toward each other has been a hot topic in popular culture since 2018. Gomez ended her on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber, and the “Yummy” singer began openly dating Hailey (neé Baldwin ) just a few months later. The couple will marry in September.
The two women have dealt with feud speculation several times over the years and were even photographed together, taken at an event, last year.
The subject of the alleged feud between Mrs Bieber and Gomez gained new interest last month after Bieber’s friend, Kylie Jenner, posted an Instagram story about her eyebrows. Her post coincided with a TikTok Gomez had posted where she had her eyebrows laminated.
Social media users began to speculate that Jenner and Bieber had deliberately targeted Gomez with subsequent Instagram Story posts from Jenner’s account. Gomez and Jenner both later denied any feud between them.

On Friday morning, Gomez took to her Instagram story to write a note addressing the matter.

Gomez wrote, “Hailey Bieber contacted me and told me that she has received death threats and negative hate. This is not what I stand for,” she continued. “No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I am always advocating for good and want this to stop. ,” the “Rare” singer concluded.
Gomez has been publicly transparent about her mental health struggles. His mental health journey was the subject of an Apple+ documentary released last fall. He has also refrained from using social media, leaving maintenance to his team.

Bieber issued his own response on Friday evening.
After being famously silent for the past few weeks amid allegations that he deliberately “copied” aspects of Gomez’s life and career, Bieber took to his Instagram story to set the record straight.

The Rhode Skin founder wrote in a text post, “I want to thank Selena for speaking up, because she and I have been discussing for the past few weeks how to get past the ongoing narrative between her and me,” he began.
“The last few weeks have been very difficult for everyone involved, and millions of people have seen so much hate around this, which is very dangerous. While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like these create extreme division instead of bringing people together,” Bieber continued.
“Something can always be taken out of context or interpreted differently than intended. We all need to think more about what we post and what we say, myself included. In the end, I believe love will always be greater than hate and negativity , and there are always opportunities to meet each other with more empathy and compassion,” Bieber concluded.
As of this writing, Justin Bieber has not officially addressed the matter publicly.
Bieber will also be criticized for an out-of-context clip that began circulating on TikTok in which he can openly express his displeasure with Gomez’s close friend, Taylor Swift.
Bieber previously denied rumors of a feud in an interview with the “Call Your Father” podcast. He told host Alex Cooper, “It’s all honor. Everything is love” between the two of them.
Gomez has also addressed the online bullying she received several times on social media.
