The “Barry” actor credits the six special children in his life for being the creators of TikTok – his grandchildren.

Winkler, 76, shared her first video on the app in late November 2020, a clip of her dancing around the set of “The Ellen DeGeneres.”
Her next video, shared the same day, is captioned, “My first TikTok,” and shows Winkler showing off some more of her dance moves set to Marv Allen’s “Out the Frame.” The video received over 14.2 million views and 43,000 comments. Many people are excited to see “The Fonz” on the app.
“THE FONZ is on TikTok. I can now die happy ?,” wrote one follower. “Today is a Happy Day,” wrote another.
Winkler has shared ten more videos, three of which are in 2020. She seems to have skipped a year and started posting videos again in January 2022—almost all of her videos from 2022 onwards feature her adorable grandchildren.

During a recent appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Winkler talked about her TikTok presence.
“I only use TikTok with my grandson,” he told Jennifer Hudson. “My oldest granddaughter, India, said, ‘Dad, you need to make TikTok.’ So I think I’ve done seven or eight, but mostly, with them.”
Although most of the videos are of the actress dancing, she also shared a few videos of her singing to her youngest grandson, 15-month-old Francis Joan.

“Strawberry, strawberry, you’re red,” she sings in one video. “You have small, green seeds on your head.”
In another video, he sings a song about apples. And in her third fruit song video, she sings to her sweet grandson about bananas. Francis loved the music and smiled as “Papa” sang to him.
“Bananas are delicious and sweet,” he sang. “You peel it, and then you eat it.”

Winkler has also used TikTok to help promote two of her books. Back in November 2020, with the help of her puppy Sadie, Winkler talked about her book, “Alien Superstar.”
And in his latest video, shared in March, he’s promoting his new book, “Being Henry.”

Her TikTok videos promoting the book show her playful side. However, the description of the book reads more seriously, talking about his childhood, struggling with severe dyslexia, role pressure, and other interesting aspects of his life.

Many of Winkler’s TikTok followers left comments about her new book and presence on TikTok after watching her fun videos.
“Years ago watching Happy Days, I never thought when I was 55, I would see the Fonz acting stupid on TikTok, but here we are! Haha, love you,” wrote one.
Another added, “Oh my gosh! I can’t wait to read it! You will always be the Fonz in my heart!!! ❤️”
