In an interview with Violator, Grant shed some light on his experience at the San Diego Comic-Con convention. The actor and other actors attended the event to promote their upcoming film, “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.”

Grant specifically stated how he was followed by someone in a hot dog costume for three days. He also said the act of stalking scared him so much that he still has nightmares about people wearing hot dog clothes. “There was only one person at the convention who really loved me, and he dressed up for three days as a hot dog,” the actor recalled.

“And he followed me everywhere I went. I couldn’t shake him. Do you remember hot dogs? I was so scared. I still have nightmares about him.”

During the interview, which also featured Pine, Grant admitted that he initially thought the public would give him a worse reception than his other castmates. Pine revealed that getting people excited and cheering for them as they walk on stage is “pretty cool.”

Grant replied every Insider, “I was so scared because they were taking out the actors one by one, and I’m old now. I was behind, and I thought, ‘They’re going to bring out Chris Pine, they’re going to go crazy. They will bring out the rest; they will go crazy. And then they’ll say- Hugh Grant,’ and there’ll be dead silence.”

In response to Pine’s “They love you,” Grant said, “But I think they’re cracking up or something.”

Pine revealed during an interview that Grant became a fan favorite at the event because he wouldn’t stop making jokes about “S&M and dungeons.”

Insider revealed that the actor made a lot of sex prison innuendos while answering questions. Grant’s response when asked what he brought home from the set was, “Over the years, I’ve always brought home a few extras.”

The actor continued, “I have a few now. And on this one, I have a really beautiful couple that I’m really happy with. They’re in my dungeon right now.”

“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” is based on “Dungeons and Dragons,” a tabletop role-playing game. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein directed the fantasy adventure film, with Daley co-writing the screenplay with Michael Gilio.

Daniel CraigMEGA

While talking about the recently released “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” Grant gave fans a little insight into the life of Daniel Craig’s mysterious character in the film, Benoit Blanc. While the first film didn’t give any insight into the private investigator’s life, the Rian Johnson-directed sequel showed a glimpse of Grant as the actor’s husband, Philip.

The actor told Violator, “It’s true, I’m married to James Bond. It was the smallest moment. I don’t really know why they wanted to do it, but anyway, I thought Knives Out 1 was brilliant, so yeah, I thought, why not? I showed up for a few hours…”

As Grant points out, his moments in the film are relatively minor. The actor’s voice is initially heard at the start of the film calling the detectives through their bathroom. Blanc, for his part, looked sullen on the other end as he blasted the music. Grant is shown again opening the door with an apron and a jar of pickles in his hand.
