Just a few weeks ago, Hugh Jackman shocked the Nation after he announced he and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, were ending their marriage after 27 years. The two share two children, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18. Now, she is preparing to release a brand new memoir.
“Huh [Jackman] is working on a memoir,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He’s in the early stages of writing it.”
The insider added, “Hugh chose to [write this book] now because he is finally [being] be honest with yourself [and] divorce, and this book is the first step.”

In September, The Blast reported that Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness divorced after 27 years of marriage. The two released a joint statement, which read, “We have decided to part ways to continue our individual growth.”
The couple, who met on the set of the Australian TV series “Corelli,” share two children together.
“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a beautiful and loving marriage. Our journey has now changed and we have decided to part ways to continue our individual growth,” People magazine shared a statement from Jackman and Furness.

In 2017, Hugh Jackman talked about how he met Deborra-Lee Furness to People, saying, “Deb, she’s a huge star…I was invited and Deb was in the front seat of the car. I will never forget.”
He added, “She took off her seat belt and she turned and held out her hand and took off her sunglasses and said, ‘Hi, I’m Deborra-lee Furness, nice to meet you.’ I remember thinking, ‘I like this girl.'”
Even though they had chemistry right off the bat, it still took Jackman six weeks to work up the courage to ask Furness out. “Deb and I are already good friends, and I realize, I really like my leading lady. This is what you don’t do. It’s unprofessional and embarrassing,” he said.
