Hunter Biden’s ‘sugar brother’ Kevin Morris plots gauzy documentary on first son

Lights, cameras … corruption!

Hunter Biden’s so-called “sugar brother” first son, Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, is backing a soft-focus documentary about the disgraced and impeached president’s offspring.

While the first child’s life as seen through his now-famous laptop resembles a Quentin Tarantino movie — with lots of unsavory nudity — Morris’ untitled project will show a softer Hunter “painting, selling his art, raising his kids, and navigating life everyday as a self-aware adult with an ongoing criminal investigation and in the field [former President Donald] Trump and his supporters,” the Los Angeles Times confidently reported this week.

A film crew has followed Hunter, 53, for years and was recently spotted publicly filming the first child defying a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee to sit in on the Dec. 13 deposition.

The Post has also noted the presence of cameras around Biden’s offspring, including when Hunter met one of our reporters in December 2022 exhibiting his very expensive work at the Georges Berges gallery in Soho.

The crew also appeared at the same gallery in the fall of 2021, at the first public show by the world’s best-compensated amateur artists.

Morris even took his camera to Serbia, where the crew crashed into the set where filmmaker Phelim McAleer was shooting “My Son Hunter,” a film mocking the Biden family distributed by Breitbart in September 2022.

Irish-born McAleer told the LA Times he allowed Morris and his crew to film on their set for several days and even went to dinner with his nemesis.

At one point, the director said, Morris began asking him questions along the lines of “What is the history of the laptop? What do I know about the history of the laptop?”

“He was out there looking for information and evidence for his client while he pretended to be something he wasn’t,” McAleer alleged.

NY Post composite Kevin Morris — a Hollywood lawyer who has signed deals for “South Park” creators and stars like Matthew McConaughey — paid Biden nearly $5 million over the years to help cover the eldest son’s housing, legal fees, car payments and payments to advisers , which IRS whistleblowers claimed last month. Daniel William McKnight

There’s no current release date for the film, but if it ever hits a theater or streaming service near you, it could be one of the most expensive openings in history.

Morris, of the well-known entertainment law firm Barnes & Morris — now known as Yorn Levine Barnes Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner Endlich & Gellman after he left the practice in 2021 — made his bones impersonating “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone before cultivating clients list for the firm that includes Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson and Will Ferrell.

Professional expertise and political opportunity came together when Morris met Hunter at a November 2019 Southern California fundraiser for then-candidate Joe Biden.

Over the next three years, according to IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler, Morris gave Hunter $4.9 million – covering expenses including back tax bills, legal fees, housing and car payments.

At least one loan to Hunter from Morris, at least $1.2 million in 2020, carries interest and requires repayment beginning in 2025.

Morris allegedly played a role in trying to cover up the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop — painting it as a right-wing conspiracy.

Upset by attacks from federal prosecutors and congressional Republicans, the younger Biden has stepped up his public defense of his conduct in recent months.

He sued Ziegler and another IRS whistleblower, Gary Shapley, in September, accusing them of trying to “target and “embarrass” him.

Hunter has also repeatedly and hatefully accused the GOP of weaponizing drug and alcohol addiction and other personal struggles.

The friendship with Morris — who has his own history of alcoholism and was also raised in an Irish-Catholic family outside Philadelphia — appears to be part of the eldest son’s own spin in recovery.

“I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for Kevin,” Hunter Biden told the LA Times.

“And I don’t mean just because he has lent me money to survive this attack, I mean because he has restored my dignity. He has become a brother to me.

“What good is Kevin? I think you don’t really understand or know Kevin if that’s your question.”

The first son said he felt he didn’t have to “explain or make excuses” about his drug use when he met Morris.

Hunter went on to describe him and Morris as good friends who sometimes fought.

“But with the knowledge that no matter what, I know that if I need him and most likely before I know that I need him, he will be there and so will I be with him,” Biden said.

The relationship was beneficial in more ways than one.

While Hunter cried poverty to reduce child support payments to his 4-year-old daughter Navy Joan Roberts, he also used Morris’ private jet to go to court in Arkansas.

Morris is also among the buyers of Hunter’s artwork, according to a report by Business Insider.

And allegedly leaked business records say the lawyer took control of Hunter’s 10% stake in Chinese government-backed investment fund BHR Partners, which has drawn negative headlines and questions about conflicts of interest for Hunter and his father.

Morris also reportedly played a key role in trying to cover up the contents of Hunter’s laptop – painting it as a right-wing conspiracy out of a Hollywood thriller.

Morris hired several forensic experts to help unravel the mystery of the missing computer, even asking them to look into the background of John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer repairman who tagged the dodgy hard drive to the FBI, according to the LA Times.

The Hollywood lawyer was the first to suggest that Mac Isaac was part of a ploy to air Hunter’s dirty laundry, the outlet added, citing text messages filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Morris’s “contextual theory” is that clones of Biden’s laptop data were created while Hunter was undergoing ketamine therapy in Massachusetts.

The clone was then given to GOP political consultant and longtime Trump ally Roger Stone, and eventually delivered to Mac Isaac’s shop, according to the theory.

But Dr. Keith Ablow, who treated Biden at the time, said the theory had “no basis in fact” and said “I never shared Hunter Biden’s laptop with anyone.”

In fact, Mac Isaac made a copy of the laptop hard drive and gave it to Rudy Giuliani’s then-lawyer Robert Costello in August 2020, after turning over the original to the feds in December 2019.

Giuliani provided The Post with a hard drive copy in October 2020, forming the basis of a series of sweeping reports about Hunter Biden’s overseas business interests that implicated President Biden in a years-long influence peddling scheme.

The Post has reached out to Morris for comment.

Hunter Biden is expected to appear in Los Angeles federal court next week for a trial on tax evasion and other charges – including three felony counts and six misdemeanor counts for allegedly evading $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019.

In addition, the first son is also struggling in Delaware with three felony federal firearms charges related to illegal possession of a firearm while addicted to illegal drugs.
