Demi Lovato posted one of her biggest regrets in life.
The singer, who recently revealed he no longer uses the pronouns they/them, regrets making three documentaries about his sobriety journey.
Two of the documentaries were shown on YouTube.
He released “Simply Complicated” in 2017 and “Dancing With The Devil” in 2021 following a near-fatal overdose in 2018.

However, now looking back, Demi wishes she had never made any documentaries.
In an interview with Alternative Newspapersthe “Holy Fvck” singer expressed her displeasure with the docos.
“Honestly, I’m really sick of myself, and I think other people probably are too,” he said with a sigh. “And if they don’t, then they can watch my music video.”

Demi released three documentaries before turning 30, and she hopes she’ll put production on hold.
He turned 30 on August 20.
“I wish I would wait until I know more because now it’s cemented. Calmness is what works for me and nothing else,” he said.

In “Dancing With The Devil,” the singer describes how he was “California sober” following his drug overdose.
For Demi, “California sober” means she allows herself to smoke weed and drink alcohol in moderation.
He received a lot of backlash from other celebrities in recovery including Lala Kent.

Kent appeared on the “Behind The Velvet Rope” podcast in June 2021 and spoke about Demi’s ‘sober CA’ lifestyle.
“I hate to judge, but I actually think that’s very offensive,” she said. “There are people out there who try very hard to never get out of reality and never put themselves in a changing situation.”
It seems that Kent’s “changed circumstances” comment is actually a regrettable reality for Demi.
He explained that his seventh studio album, “Dancing With The Devil: The Art Of Starting Over” and the accompanying documentary, we made when he was “very high.”

“I was so high all the time smoking weed that I wasn’t focused,” he said of his last album.
Apparently, the laid-back California lifestyle didn’t do Demi any favors and she returned to rehab in 2021.
Since then, he left alcohol and drugs for good.
