Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that she most likely won’t be separated from her estranged husband, Will Smith, forever. She recently shared her hope to one day live with him in her old age to take care of him.

In an interview with The TimesJada shared that she might get back with Will in the future to take care of him in his old age.

The two had been secretly separated for seven years, a fact that was not widely known until the actress revealed it in a bombshell interview on the “Today” show.

“I think we will eventually do it [live together again.] I really do. Will is getting older,” said Jada, who now lives in her own home in Calabasas, in the same neighborhood as Will’s.

He added, “I’m still quite young, but it’s becoming clear to me that he’s going to need someone to take care of him.”

Will is now 55 years old, while Jada is 52 years old. The two have been married for nearly three decades since they met on the set of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” They share two children, Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, who are both musicians. Will also has a son, Trey, 30, from a previous marriage.

Over the past seven years, Will and Jada have only kept appearances at high-profile events. Although the story of Jada’s relationship with singer August Alsina was revealed, the two are still silent about the breakup.

Normally, the divorce should be done and cleared now if it is for the other spouse. However, for Will and Jada, it doesn’t feel right for them to do so.

“We got to a point where we had to break up to get away from some of the more immature fantasies of what marriage was,” the “The Red Table Talk” host said of their marriage rift.

“And remember, when we separated in 2016 the goal was to divorce, but divorce didn’t feel right for either of us. We don’t know why. But here we are.”

It is still unclear what caused the rift in Will and Jada’s marriage, as the two have yet to talk about it explicitly.

Jada, who has not been in a relationship with anyone before, reflected on her feelings after people blamed her for the Oscar slapping incident.

The incident that lasted only a few minutes involved Rock and Will. Rock had made a joke about Jada’s bald head, prompting Will to slap him on camera.

The aftermath of the incident saw Jada criticizing Will’s actions a lot. Jada shared that “it was ridiculous in how far it went,” especially because people had a “false narrative” that she had cheated on Will with Alsina — she claimed they were separated at the time.

“I think when we just look at human nature… when you look at breadcrumbs, people need something to blame,” Jada said in a great interview with “Today.”

He added, “So, people who don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, I’m certainly not surprised that I’m being blamed. But I understand that’s just the human nature of it all.

Elsewhere in the interview, Jada revealed that she was surprised that the slapping incident actually happened and initially thought it was a pre-planned skit.

“I was like, ‘There’s no way Will hit him.’ It wasn’t until Will started walking back to his chair that I realized it wasn’t a skit,” Jada said while explaining her reaction at the time.

While Jada’s recent interview has provided enough drama to match the slapping incident, more is expected when the book comes out Worth it debuts on October 17.

The book will reportedly detail her journey through life, from her early days dealing drugs to her rise to becoming a successful woman. It will also touch on her mysterious relationship with the late rapper Tupac Shakur and the state of her marriage to Will.
