The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star announced on Instagram that she would not honor Cohen’s request for a sit-down conversation.
“On January 6, I stood before Judge Stein and asked him to see me not as a fictional character, but as the real Jen Shah. I am now at a point, legally, emotionally and mentally, where I can answer questions and provide some unknown details about my case. I want and need to share this critical fact. I owe it to those who love and support me to hear the truth,” Shah wrote.
Before stating that he would not agree to a one-on-one with Cohen, Shah explained that certain clauses in his contract legally allow Bravo to “abuse” him and his story on all topics before and during his participation in the show, which is why he refused the interview.

“This particular 1 on 1 interview is not part of my RHOSLC reality TV contract. I promise myself and my beloved family that I will not allow this part of my life to be sensationalized or presented inaccurately,” he said.
The TV personality continued, “I’d rather stay quiet and wait until I can share my story accurately than continue to have complete lies and misrepresentations about me spread all over the headlines,” after ruefully admitting to those “who have been hurt by my actions and my inability to control my own narrative.”
Shah then conclusively revealed that he will share the details of the entire story soon for everyone to know.
Andy Cohen Says His Absence From The Show ‘Will Be A Big Loss’
During the same episode of “Sirius XM” in which he stated that he would like to interview Shah, Cohen also admitted that his absence from the “RHOSLC” show “would be a huge loss.”
He insisted that the network has “a great cast for next year” before he commented on fans’ curiosity about whether or not Shah would be on the show.
“Do you understand that this woman is being sentenced to prison on January 6?'” he explained. “They will not give him time. So you tell me, is he in the show? Like, what do you want me to say if he’s on the show? He will serve his time. So you tell me, is he on the show or not? I don’t understand what people want me to say … Looks like the judge has it figured out for us, right?”
Cohen said, “We have a really good cast for next season,” when asked what the network plans to do without Shah on the show, adding, “I feel good. But I would say it’s a loss. It’s a loss to lose him from the show .”
