At the time, Swift was still feeling the effects of their breakup. She told DeGeneres, “You know what? It’s like when I find the right person for me, and he’s going to be great, and when I see that person, I’m not going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone when I was 18 .”
Jonas Has No Hard Feelings About His Relationship With Swift!
As the saying goes, “time heals all wounds,” it seems the now 33-year-old has more than healed any leftover hard feelings from their relationship.

Jonas, who has a daughter with wife Sophie Turner, shared his thoughts in the mid-2010s about being the subject of various songs by his ex.
“That’s part of being a musician, I guess,” he said during an interview, “You write songs about each other. He’s great. Yeah, we’re friends… in this industry, you meet a lot of people and stay in touch. It’s hard to be friends with people who are always traveling, but yeah, we’re great.” (per People magazine)
The two musicians each and respectfully mention each other in their lyrics. Jonas publicly praised Swift for her decision to re-record her first six albums after her masters were bought without her consent.
Jonas called the move “very smart” on Swift’s part.
Jonas Worries What ‘Swifties’ Think Of Him!

The DNCE vocalist may have settled any underlying hard feelings with the “Holy Ground” singer (the song is reportedly about him!). However, he opened up with one particular concern with Swift’s fans.
After Jonas was questioned by “Armchair Expert” podcast host Dax Shepard about Swifties and their perception, Jonas said, “I hope they like me. Nobody makes love to Swifties, you know?” he added.
While Swifties were less than pleased with Jonas at the time, he also added, “[But] it’s been many, many years out.” (via Us Weekly)
He also revealed that Turner (a known Swiftie) will be more than excited to see the “Last Kiss” singer live on the ‘Eras Tour.’
“You know, that’s a good idea. Is it still an option? He will love that; I’ll be in line now,” he told E! News at the time of the Ticketmaster failure news cycle. (via People)
