Jonathan Majors Trial Day 6: Grace Jabbari Weeps In Court Over Body-Camera Footage

Marvel star Jonathan course ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari continued her testimony for the third day in a row since taking the witness stand on Tuesday.

During cross-examination today, Jabbari was shown a rough security video clip of himself at a nightclub by Majors’ lawyer in an attempt to refute his claim that he was in “extreme pain” after their car altercation.

Jabbari claimed that the actor twisted his arm and finger after taking his phone from him while spitting and also hit him in the face several times.

The accuser also claimed on day 5 of the trial while testifying that he chose not to involve the police in Majors’ previous alleged violent actions because he was a “black man.”

Priya Chaudhry, one of Majors’ lawyers, presented Jabbari with video footage of her trip to the nightclub in the hours after the alleged assault, which left her in “excruciating” pain.

Jabbari was grilled by Chaudhry over the clip, which showed the 30-year-old appearing to have full use of the hand he claimed was injured during the Majors attack. The lawyer had previously asked the professional dancer to confirm if she was right-handed, which she confirmed.

In a video clip shown in court, Jabbari can be seen using his injured hand to carry out various tasks such as lifting a champagne glass, fixing his hair, and checking his bag.

“You pick lemons with your right hand?” Chaudhry asked Jabbari. “And you put a lime in your mouth? You suck on the lemon, and then you put the rest of the lemon peel back on the bar with your right hand, right?”

In response to questions, Jabbari stated that due to the adrenaline, he did not realize how bad his injuries were until he went to sleep and woke up the next day feeling “like [she] hit by a bus.”

Jabbari, who appeared in court wearing a black turtleneck sweater with white polka dots, became very emotional during cross-examination and even left the witness stand at one point to rest.

A few months ago, Chaudhry released some of Jabbari’s tapes to the press, claiming that they were “irrefutable” evidence of Majors’ innocence. During jury selection, some potential jurors admitted to viewing the footage, which inadvertently deprived them of their ability to fairly discuss the case. None of those who admitted to watching the video were selected as jurors in Majors’ trial.

At one point during the process, Majors’ accuser told the defense, “I’m going to be sick.” Jabbari cried several times during cross-examination and pleaded several times to the defense that he did not want to watch some of the footage presented to him.

One of the clips that appeared to disturb the 30-year-old dancer was body camera footage from a police officer who found Jabbari at the home he shared with the Marvel star a day after the alleged assault.

While watching a video on a laptop with headphones on, Jabbari closed her eyes and lifted her head to the ceiling, crying as she said, “I really don’t want to watch this.” The clip, which was shown to Jabbari in person, was eventually played for the jury and the public to see.

In the body camera footage, Jabbari is shown on the floor of the penthouse he had just moved into with Majors. He had a colorful blanket wrapped around him as he stated that he had been sick “in the sheets, which was disgusting.”

While Jabbari couldn’t bear to watch a video clip of himself, Majors watched calmly with mostly raised eyebrows.

The actor didn’t seem to have any other reaction to the clip and maintained the same calm and collected demeanor since the start of the court proceedings. Like a few days ago, the actor arrived in court with his girlfriend, Meagan Good, and her mother, Terri.
