Kanye West Pays Tribute To Queen Elizabeth II: ‘Life Is Precious’

Rapper Kanye West is one of many celebrities who have reacted to Queen Elizabeth’s death and paid tribute to the late monarch. On September 9, the day after Buckingham Palace announced the Queen’s death, West made an IG post to the Queen and said he was “letting go of all grudges.”

The “Good Morning” rapper also added two photos of the late Queen when she was younger in the tribute post. The palace officially announced that Queen Elizabeth has died with a post on her social media account. The statement revealed that he had died peacefully at his Balmoral estate.

In the comments section of West’s post, some fans criticized West for not condemning the late Queen as many people did on social media. One comment read, “Tell their victims that the UK royal family is a famous pedophile in the UK many Survivors!!…just like hollywierd.”

Another comment read, “you don’t give him credit that he’s actually responsible for moving massacres and starving people in his colonies.” However, many other fans praised the rapper for paying tribute to such an icon and wrote positive and supportive comments under the post.

Buckingham Palace Announces Queen’s Death

Earlier on September 8, Buckingham Palace announced that Queen Elizabeth’s doctors have become very concerned about her health and are monitoring her closely. Shortly after, it was also confirmed that most of the royal family, the Queen’s children and grandchildren in particular, were on their way to be by her side at Balmoral Palace.
