Grammy award winning artist Karol G recently faced a scary situation in the air when his private jet had to make an emergency landing.
The Colombian singer and fifteen others were lucky to be alive, as the cockpit fire would have ended prematurely. They were captured safely exiting the plane in a viral video that had fans praying for the “Tusa” hitmaker’s safety.

The terrifying incident happened on Thursday evening and was caught by ABC 7 Eyewitness News. The media outlet was filming as Karol G’s private jet made an emergency landing on the runway at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
They shared the video on X along with a lengthy caption describing the emergency in the air over SoCal. The flight crew reported smoke in the cockpit and quickly found the nearest runway to land on.
The group reportedly took off from Burbank but only made it to Cajon Pass before the pilot reported an emergency and turned the plane around. They arrived safely at the Van Nuys Airport around 9pm with emergency vehicles waiting on the tarmac.
