“Yellowstone” actor Kevin Costner has “all the power” in his split dispute with his wife, Christine Baumgartner, who allegedly has “no choice” but to agree to a divorce settlement.
After settling things with Costner, the hairstylist was recently spotted out and about, taking in salsa near his $40,000-a-month Montecito home.
The two were locked in a four-month child support battle, which Costner won when he was ordered to pay Baumgartner $63,209 in child support, much less than he wanted.

According to a report, Christine Baumgartner was recently spotted out and about for the first time since she finalized her divorce from Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner.
The hairdresser wore black leggings, a green top and sneakers as she grabbed a $6.99 salsa from the Vons supermarket located near her $40k monthly rental home in Montecito.
A source spoke to the news outlet about Baumgartner and Costner’s divorce settlement, saying, “Christine had no choice but to settle it because Kevin had all the power. If he continues to fight, he risks losing everything.”
They continued, “Christine says it is what it is. That he won’t miss going to court and have sleepless nights. He said for the children it was a victory because no child wants to go through that, let alone in public.”
The insider, who is allegedly a friend of the mother of three, also stated that Baumgartner was the one who “wanted to settle things out of court in the first place.”
“He never wanted any of this circus. It’s been a living nightmare and now he just wants to move on and start fresh and start making his new house a home.”

According to a TMZ reported, the judge presiding over the case both stressed that the estranged couple’s pre-nuptial agreement would be enforced.
They also stated that Baumgartner would have to pay Costner over $1 million in attorney fees to challenge their prenup in court.
Based on these terms, Baumgartner agreed to the terms of the three-page settlement letter.
In a joint statement, the two said of their settlement, “Kevin and Christine Costner have reached an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues related to their divorce proceedings.”

Costner and Baumgartner have been married for 18 years and share three children: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. She filed for divorce from the actor in May, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
At the time, Costner’s representative spoke to him TMZ about filing for divorce. They said, “It is very sad that circumstances beyond his control have occurred, causing Mr. Costner to participate in the dissolution of marriage. We ask that her, Christine and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Shortly after Baumgartner filed for divorce, the “Bodyguard” actor responded to the petition by demanding joint custody. Costner’s filing also states, “Spousal support is to be paid to the petitioner under the terms of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement.”
During their child support battle, Baumgartner’s attorney argued that the couple’s children had luxury “in their DNA” and, for that reason, should follow the lifestyle they were used to.
In the divorce proceedings, the judge ultimately ruled that Costner would be required to pay $63,209 per month. This figure is significantly lower than Baumgartner’s initial request of $248,000 per month.
