The reality star has been revealing a lot of juicy stuff recently and one of them includes what life is like behind the closed doors of her LA home. On this week’s “Angie Martinez’s IRL” Podcast, Kim talked about her $60 million mansion in Calabasas.
By now, anyone who cares has seen some of Kim’s interior when she’s out for special occasions or if she’s really obsessed with her latest decor. The sneak peek shows fans that Kim likes it in neutral tones.
She has boasted in the past about her love of basic colors and incorporating them into everything she does especially the Skims clothing line and the packaging for her Skkn products.

“When I post a picture of my house, [social media followers are] it’s either like, ‘wow, this is so minimal and crazy’ or they get it. But I like it,” said the mother of four. An astute Angie asks Kim if this is the case for her house staff as well, she confirms that it definitely is.
“Absolutely,” Kardashian claimed. “I have a uniform.” Realizing that might sound like a lot, he went on to explain that he wouldn’t really call them uniform, he’d rather have a certain color palette for them to choose from.
“grey, heather gray, black, navy, white, cream, khaki,” that’s what Kim prefers. “I mean, we can stay with all neutrals. There’s not a lot of color blocking,” he said, relaxing the rules a bit. Kim also insists that his staff use modern uniforms.

The entrepreneur claims “My house is very zen, so I asked how everyone felt about it and everyone literally said, ‘that would make our lives so easy,'” he claimed. “And when everyone was on board and thought it would be easier for them, I was like ‘yeah, let’s do this.'”
Since she runs her home like a business, Kim joked that she should include some fun wardrobe choices on special occasions, “a free dress day on their birthday or something.”
The mega-mansion was worth just $20 million when Kim bought it in 2013 with her ex-husband, Kanye West. They famously didn’t move into the house until 2017 because it was being completely redone and West was really struggling to figure out the best sofa for his house.

The DailyMail revealed that in his divorce, West signed over the title to the house to Kim and didn’t really fight to keep it or ask her to sell it and split the profits. the divorce took two years to settle.
The most important part of a divorce is the children. North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 who now share custody with the couple. Kim became emotional talking about co-parenting with West who has Bipolar disorder and often has very long and general outbursts.
“I have the best father. I don’t want to be emotional. It’s just been a day for me,” he surprisingly revealed to Angie. “It’s hard. Like co-parenting, it’s really hard you know.”
At least Kim can take refuge in her beautiful, minimalist home with a staff that literally blends into the walls if necessary.
